Shopping -2

I stick my head out of the car window and breathe in the fresh cool air flowing in the lukewarm summer evening. Going out of my house has already put me in a much better mood.

"so where are we going?" I ask Aunt Amira

"I was thinking we can go to the mall on the outskirts of the town. I've heard they have a pretty good collection " she says

"Isn't that too far away " I say

"Yes, but we have time, and it's not like we have a very nice company waiting for us back home"

"right " I say rolling my eyes

The drive goes on smoothly without much traffic, and we reach the mall in just thirty minutes. We walk about for a while looking at different stores, new winter collections have flooded the shops, each with different colors, patterns and materials. There were several that I liked but most came with a size issue or price issue. The ones I liked that fitted me were too expensive and reasonable ones didn't fit me well. I tried several tops, especially the floral ones but I didn't like the way it looked on

"I am tired" I call out to my aunt Amira, and she just smiles

"Let's go to this one, it's the last one I promise"

She chirps

"What makes you think they'd have something for me all the other stores don't"

"Yes, but we can't stop looking, we have to get you something"

"True" I say with a shrug. I glance at the store it's a decent small place with lilac walls and small daisy painted across. Their collection seemed warm and pretty perfect for winter. They also have thirty percent discount posters hanging around.

"You know Auntie they have a good sale going on, I have decided I'll buy whatever will fit without fusing much about it. Everything they own seems pretty trendy and cute."

"Yeah, I guess you are right, we have visited almost every shop, let's find whatever we can here and call it a day" she says decidedly

We walk around the store and I find this cute baby pink sweater with long sleeves and instantly fall in love.

"Aunt Amira look at this!" I say. She pops up behind me smiling at the sweater widely

"It's so soft!" she says gently running her finger around the sleeves "and I think it will fit you well!" she adds in excitement.

"Yes!" I happily add, after going through so many stores and trials I had a pretty good hunch of what will fit me well and I was right. I smiled at my reflection in the fitting room. It was perfect around my shoulder and didn't hug my body at all. I brought a similar piece in maroon and a couple of sweater vests, one lilac and a brown and four plain white shirts to go with it. I also got a couple of pants and jeans.

"We are finally done!" I say with a sigh

"Indeed, looks like it's time for pizza" she sings leading me to the food court. We ordered a veggie cheeze pizza with coke and a brownie and everything tasted ten times better given how hungry and tired we were after spending hours at shopping.

We went a stationary after we were done with the food to get some important school supplies for my new school. I was content. I was almost done for my shopping for the new school.
