My Reasons for Goodbye

To my dearest one’s , I’m sorry for betraying your trust knowing that you may not forgive me, and but I had to do what I thought was going to protect you no matter what you may think of me in the end. I left this note so I can explain what I have done, and why. The reason I killed the king was because he wanted to kill you. You may not believe me but it is fine with me. The king was only using us for power and strength, for we believed in him with out the slightest of a doubt. I only figured this out because of the conversation he was having with is generals. He said, “We need to get rid Duke Klines family in order to have most of royal power back.” Only with him saying that did I know that he was playing to get rid of us. I to could not believe it myself, that someone we loved and believed in would do this to us. We were only ever loyal to him and yet he wants to get rid from of us. So I poisoned him with the tea I served him at are estate and took the blame. Now since he doesn’t have a heir to the throne. You my lovely family are now in charge. I know when I’m at the gallows you all will be watching me with disgust in you eyes

That day a man was hanged with a smile on his face, that look the young man had on his face was the look you get when you lived your life to the fullest and completed what he needed to do, even though he was only 14. The boy looked like he was happy even living his short life. That same day the boys family received a letter, that they published to the public. It revealed how the boy killed the former king and what he had to say about it. They further commented that this traitorous scum is an example of what we don’t need in this country.

In the opinion of me the writer of the news he just looked like a kind an innocent boy who loved his family to the fullest. I know that writing this I will be considered a traitor but I don’t care what matter is getting the right story. That boy does not need to be hounded almost everyone knew that the king was going to kill them of except for them, themselves. That poor boy just wanted his family to lI’ve and if that’s a crime the kill me as well. The world needs more people like him. Bless his soul and may he forever rest in peace knowing that he did good.
