A saviour??

After reaching home,

"Aneya!!! Where are you dumbass?" Victoria shouted.

'Miss Stenford please talk with some sense of respec ' Aneya her housemate talked naughtily.

"Okay okay. I'll give you respect later but now i am hungry"

'Here we go.' Aneya served her food and sat down to eat with her.

'By the way, where were you??' Aneya enquired.

"Umm. Just.. umm .. you know.. I"

'Here??..where? Don't tell me you again went to the club!! I told you not to...' Aneya said aggressively.

Victoria's voice softened, "I am sorry love. I know you get worried due to my low alcohlic tolerance but.."

Before she could finish, Aneya said sadly, ' no idiot!! I meant that how could you go there alone.. leaving me here. I was f*cking bored.'

Victoria chuckled. "No worries we'll go for a movie tomorrow night. And this time I won't leave you alone".

Aneya meekly said, 'Alrightt Vic.'

That day,

Victoria slept soundly and woke up late. After looking at the clock striking 10, she was startled because she had a job interview.

She quickly washed up and got down.

Aneya had already gone to her work.

So she had her breakfast and headed out.

VICTORIA'S POV.

I stood in front of Maynard corporation, it was bigger and luxurious than i imagined. For a second , I felt like I could never belong to this place. It was simply too amazing. Clearing my thoughts, I went inside.

I enquired about my interview from the receptionist. She was too polite and professional unlike the ones whom I had encountered earlier.

The interview was conducted. I was quite confident in myself and it went really smoothly.

Hopefully I'll get a chance in this dream like place.

END OF POV.

At around 8pm, Aneya and Victoria went out for a movie as planned.

Although it was quite crowdy, but they managed to get a ticket. It was a thriller action movie.

But it proved to be an overhyped movie unlike Victoria's liking. She was on the verge of sleeping.

She went to freshen up in between after informing Aneya.

In the washroom,

As she was tidying herself near the wash basin, she heard some musculine voices coming from outside. She was so startled that she stood rooted to the same place.

Some men entered the washroom.

But before anyone could see her, a hand grabbed her and pulled her inside one of the washrooms.

VICTORIA'S POV.

I was too shocked too react. Those voices were approaching fastly. But suddenly I was grabbed and pulled inside. Alas! Maybe a saviour!!!

But I hit something hard. I felt someone's muscular chest with well defined abs.

As i looked up, I saw a familiar face.

The same hot stranger from the club!!!

' Ughhh, you pervert!!! ' I said.

He looked at me amusingly And said, 'Miss are you talking about yourself? It is quite inappropriate to step into males restroom to take peeks. Perhaps you yourself are a pervert!! "

I gave him a fierce look.

"Listen Mister, it is not ..."

He interrupted, "It's Eric.. my name's Eric."

I halted when he stepped a little more closer.

I was unable to react as I could feel my cheeks turning red. We were just standing too close. Our bodies had collided due to less space and he was literally pressing onto mine.

I don't even know what got into me, and I closed my eyes.

(Goddd, why did I do that?..)

"I know you are eager but sorry miss, you aren't my type."

My mind went blank. I was utterly embarrassed.

I just wanted to run away at that time.

And then I heard the footsteps fading away. Without thinking much i ran away because it was to embarrassing to face that stranger.
