On the other side, Victoria got up early for the first day of her job. She had received a confirmation mail a night before stating that she need to come from the next day. She got the post of CEO's secretary due to some uncertain situations.
She had her breakfast and went out.

Victoria went inside cheerfully. She met Reen , the assistant manager who made her aware about her duties.
'The mail stated that I'll be working for the CEO, but i had applied for some other post. Regarding that.. i mean!..i' Victoria enquired.
Reen replied, " That is due to some emergency. The previous secretary had been fired recently. You know our CEO is a little cold. And alas in the nick of time, we got you.. moreover you are qualified enough to become a secretary. It is for a short time and you will get your previous post back. So No worries. Breath and you'll kill it.."
Victoria chuckled. Reen gave her some files for which she needed to go to the Ceo's office.
She calmed herself down and knocked on the Ceo's office. After listening to the affirmative reply, she entered inside.
VICTORIA'S POV.
I went inside cautiously. I saw a well-built figure working carefully on some documents.
'Julian Maynard' - I read the name plate placed over there. Umm.., i should say the CEO sure carries a cold aura.
" Good morning Mr. Maynard, I am Victoria Stenford and I'll be your secretary for the time being ."
He paid no heed to me and continued working.
"He is cold for sure.." I murmured.
Am I?? He asked while looking at me indifferently.
I was startled. ( Did he heard that.. aghhhh..I shouldn't have said that in first place.. now what..what should i do)
My thoughts were disorganised.
"I ....sir i.." I stammered.
He let out a soft chuckle and motioned me to handover the files.
He signed those and returned them to me.
"Thank you. I'll take my leave now." i said and rushed out.
