Eric headed upstairs to CEO'S office and kicked the door open.

He stared at the person in front with a dark gaze, " You don't seem to be injured."

Julian chuckled, "Come in brother, It has been long."

Eric came inside and sat on the sofa, waiting for an explanation.

Julian continued, " I lied to you, otherwise you wouldn't have come here. I am glad that you care a little about your brother. "

Eric glared at him, " I am so done with your mother- son's duo. Anyway, what is it for?? "

This time Julian commanded coldly, 'Emily Milston is about to come, just be a little polite Eric.'

Before Eric could react, a knock was heard and a girl walked in. This girl was Emily Milston - the said to be match for Eric, pretty but a manipulative girl.

She greeted Julian, "Hello Mr. Maynard, How have you been?"

"Just alright. Well meet Eric, the one you are supposed to meet. Umm, I'll be back." Julian replied hastily and went out.

EMILY'S POV.

I checked out the man seated in front of me. He was exceptionally hot and handsome. His green eyes made him more charismatic. His single sight made me fall for him. May be Julian would be more financially stable but on the basis of looks and personality, Julian was no match for him.

What bothered me the most was that he didn't even tried to talk to me. I went in front of him to have a chat.

"My name's Emily Milston." I tried to converse. Even after few seconds, he didn't reply. Alas he just said, " okay ".

I stared at him blankly.

( Okay?? Like thats it?? Eric was really rude but i just didn't care. Now I just wanted him to be mine. My thoughts were going wild and it wasn't my fault. He was too good - looking.)

Eric recieved a message. He didn't even spare Emily an another glance. He got up to head out. As he opened the door, Julian entered. He gloomily watched Eric.

"Eric, can you please drop her home?"Julian asked.

" Wasn't it you who brought her here. Go on. Drop her home. " Eric said unhappily.

With a cold look, Julian said, " I was supposed to but I have to check out some articles. We can't make the shareholders wait. "

"Whatever".

ERIC'S POV.

I wasn't in favour of dropping Emily Milston home in first place. Entire way, she talked continuously. Nothing much, but i came to know that she's a scheming gold digger who thinks too highly of herself.

Madam Shen wants me to marry her. Not because she is from reputable family but because she will get more than half percent shares of Milstons. I don't want to be Madam Shen's commodity whom she can sell for her personal gains.

Emily Milston is known for her dark past. Her father wants to marry her off soon.They won't care if the person is a 'mere' racer like me. umm thats what they call me. Its not like i judge people on the basis of their past mistakes, but she is a little too manipulative..

The rides which i cherished, were made tedious by this cunning woman.

On a second i thought, i missed her, that little kitten.

I cleared my thoughts. Finally dropping Emily home, I drove back to the villa.
