Chapter one: Watch before you go

Melanie's POV:

"Dumplinggg!!!! Where's my wolfyy t-shirt??"

"You mean this one??"

Pearl, my best friend always steals my clothes without me noticing.I got used to it already.

"Oh!! You're wearing that... No biggie. Give me your purple shirt."

*Smiling* Pearl throws her shirt towards me,"Take it."

She and I are going to shop some cute dresses because our another best buddy is throwing a party and told us to wear something good, not some basic jeans and t-shirt.

"What are you wearing at Tyler's party?"

*Thinking* Pearl answers, "Idk. You know me. Besides you always choose my dress so it's up to you."

Pearl really doesn't wear dresses so much so it gives me a devilish plan, " What 'bout black stockings with wine red knee length dress??"

She makes an irritating face but still agrees with me.

"Sounds cool to me. What are you wearing??"

"Thinking 'bout tunic with leather pants."

Noticing the clock Pearl nearly screams,"Whatever it is we should get our asses to the mall right now. Enough with chit chats Mousse. I always forget 'bout time when I'm with you."

*Pouting* I reply childishly, "Yeah my bad."

Pearl grabs her car keys and we are headed for the mall. In this busy city of Manhattan no one cares about anyone. People are waking down the streets, kissing each other, having break ups but no one is even looking at anyone's matter because it's Manhattan where time flows in a way that people can't even catch it.

I've always loved Pearl's car. it's a pearl colour Mercedes Benz SL 390. It's so funny that she drives a car coloured as her name. It's her grandpa's car which he enlisted for her to have. As for me I don't have anything I was enlisted with so got a Harley Davidson 750 Street because for now that is enough for me. Dad wanted to give me a car but I think I should get mine on my own.

Pearl nudges me, "Got something in that pretty head of yours? You totally ignored me babe."

*Embarrassed* I smile at her, "Nah, nothing. Just thinking, it's so early to be turned 23 you know.It feels like I was having trauma attack for college just a few days ago."

We both starts laughing because first day of college was actually pretty hectic and funny for us.

Shopping is a very hard thing for me because it's too hard to choose between dresses. I already sent Pearl to try 5 dresses and she's super pissed at me.

"This is the last one I'm trying. You better select something right now or I'm leaving you."

*Hey girl have some mercy on me* wanted to say that but better keep my mouth shut. I've already bought my dress only her's is left.

"Ok sooo..... the wine colored one. Yeah pack it. It's perfect."

Pearl blows a sigh of relief, "GODDD... FINALLY. Can we eat something now?"

She is pouting. She is so like a kid.

*Giggling* "Let's go."

Just as we exited the door. *Bang* That's a hard hit. All of my bags are scattered in the ground so I squat down and start rummaging my things when I see some bags aren't mine so I pick those to give the person whom I just bumped into.

"I'm sooo sorry. I didn't notice..."

Holy F*ck!! *Breathe Sucking* This guy is something. Black little curly hair, tannish skin, ocean blue eyes, sharp jawline and he towers over me.

Okk I know I'm a small person but still.... not to mention he's wearing a suit. SO HOTT!!!
