Chapter 1 A Night with Him

[Kath's POV]

I am currently in one of the famous restaurant in our city. Dating with one of the hottest bachelor in our town. They said his hot so I believe them.

Even though, he's good looking. I am ignoring him. Because I am not really into hot guys. I think majority of them are playboys and bossy.

I think this is the reason why up until now I'm still single. I am 23 years currently working as a writer at Black Moon company and 100% hopeless romantic.

People keeps on calling me old lady because I never had a single boyfriend.

Anyway back to the story, this date is just so boring because Nathan keeps on talking about his ex.

I am looking around and the table behind me catches my attention.

The girl is crying and the guy doesn't care. Looks like the man is a 100% player.

That's why I never like handsome guys they like to deceive girls and hurt them.

The guy behind us looks like a heartless person. He ignored a girl who's crying a lot in front of him.

"How dare her leave me, I'm more handsome to my ex new boyfriend" Nathan said.

I nodded my head. His stories are all about his ex. My ears almost bleed because the topic is revolving around his lost lover.

It is Nathan's fault anyway, because he treats his ex like a princess. That's why she abused and cheated on him.

He is st*pid when it comes to love. It's a pain in the neck but after all the pain, Nathan still loves his ex.

I shift my thoughts to the table behind us.

"Will you please shut up, Monique! We're in the restaurant" the man's voice is authoritative and cold.

He only cares about his reputation. What a terrible person.

"Why do you keep on pushing me away from you?" the girl asked and tears keep on falling in her eyes.

It's really pitiful to see a girl like her. A lot of people are watching them.

"The girl looks really beautiful" one man commented.

"The man is so hot"

"I want to have a boyfriend like him"

This is really weird as hell. Some girls even find him attractive. Even though he's a cold-hearted snake. The man doesn't have any empathy to others.

"Simply because I don't like you" the man stated and he didn't even look at the girl.

"Why CK? I did everything so that, you'll like me. I promise I'll do better next time. Just please don't leave me. You mean the world to me" she begged. My heart broke when I saw how much she suffered from his hand.

Girls are like gems, they are precious.

"Will you please end this discussion Monique! I'm tired of this d*mn topic. If you cry more, I'll leave you here" he threatened.

This is really getting interesting.

"I still love her" Nathan said. I ignored him.

"Ouch, CK you are hurting me" Monique said. I can in her eyes the pain. The man is gripping her wrist hand. That looks really painful.

The CK guy didn't care and pulled her outside of the restaurant. I will never fall in love with a guy like that.

The scene was really interesting however, it's over. I want to intrigue more of what will happen next.

"What should I do Kath?" I ignored Nathan once again.

"Hey Kath, are you there?" he asked me.

"Let's go home, I'm tired Nathan" and I stand up out of my seat.

"I think it's getting dark" he answered back.

We walked at the parking lot. I try to search for Monique and CK unfortunately, I didn't find them.

It's really sad the story is hanging. It's incomplete.

"Hey Kath? Who are you finding?" Nathan asked.

"Nothing. Let's go" I said and I entered his car.

I am exhausted today. Listening to Nathan's drama was tiresome.

Nathan drop me off in my apartment. When I opened the door, I saw my bestfriend Daphne. She looks so excited knowing that I went on a date.

"So how's your date with the oh so hot Nathan Suarez?" she started. Her eyes are sparkling. I think my bestfriend really wanted to intrigue my love life.

"He always talked about his ex. I don't give a d*mn care about his lover" and I crossed my arms.

"That's the reason why you never had a single boyfriend. You haven't find yourself one. Like hello! Are you going to be single forever? You're already 23 and most of our friends already have their second baby" Daphne stated angrily.

"I am not in a rush to find a boyfriend. I am just 23" I argued.

"You will regret it, believe. You will be an old lady"

"Tsk. No way. I'm too beautiful to be an old lady"

"Anyway, I'll just go to bed" and I went to my room.

My best friend and I live together in an apartment. It makes the house payment cheaper because my hometown is faraway from my workplace.

I suddenly remembered the scene between Monique and CK. My curiosity is killing me. What happened next?

Monique looks like she came from a prestigious family. She is also beautiful. A lot of guys like to have a girlfriend like her.

Why did she choose to be miserable? The CK guy is horrible as hell. Cold-hearted like a snake.

I tried to close my eyes as I remembered that there will be a special event in our company tomorrow. There will be a big celebration.

They said we will welcome the new CEO of the Black Moon company.

I hope our new president is as kind as Mr. Christian Rou Ackerman.
