A Girl Who Wants Love
Name: Silvia
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Birthday: December 25
I didn't get people's expressions; it made me feel uncomfortable. I thought they were my friends because they laughed with me, but the truth was a bit different; they weren't laughing with me. They were laughing at me. Why? What did I do?
Whenever my friends touch me, I feel like I'm their friend, but it's different. I don't get why they do this. They say I am their friend, and if that is true, then I don't care if I get hurt; they say I am their friend! The thought just makes me shiver with happiness, and my mind feels eased. Everyone says about me how much they need and care about me. Their words was the only thing I care.
"Put your hands up if you know the answer..."
As soon as the teacher says that the chime rings, which takes me by surprise. The teacher's voice goes in my left ear and out of my right ear, as usual. I swiftly close my tattered pencil case and chuck it in my bag. Raining makes my dizziness worse, and pain suddenly urges like my head is being cut in half. I dig my hand into my broken bag for my medicines. Every minute, my headache seemed to worsen, and despite carefully searching my bag and laying everything on my desk, the medication was nowhere to be found. Feeling like a dead fish, I solemnly put the things back in the place where they belonged. The temperature made me shiver vigorously. I longed for my coat to come back, but it never seemed to like me very much.
"Hi there, Snowy! My friend!"
The sudden volume makes my headache worse, but I was too delighted to care about that mere pain. One of my best friends, Ella, came to talk to me! The thought of that made me grin automatically. She had always been nice to me, and she was the one who allowed me to call them by their names.
"Hello Ella, how was your day today?"
I make a reply, trying to be polite so that she won't do the usual things too early. The face of Ella never changes; she always puts on a smile, even when she is angry, which is what I like about her.
"Very awful; the teacher gave us homework to do. So, can you?"
She makes the same movement as usual, her smile spreading widely, which makes her look even more friendly! She waits for me to give her the response she wants. I feel eager about how she needs my help; it makes my grin wider. The pain in my head doesn't bother me anymore because of Ella's presence.
"Okay, as usual, I will."
As she hears my response, she passes me the worksheet that was set by the teacher. I take it with care and put it in the folder, so it won't make a crease, which will displease her. Her smile stretches again as she is satisfied with me and walks somewhere else, making me a little sad. I wish she did the usual thing so I could be with her longer. I just simply sat there, letting the feeling of happiness flood my mind and replace my pain. Now that she came to me, I don't care about what she did to my medicines. She called me a friend! The realisation makes my face soften, and I smile foolishly to myself. I will get to see her tomorrow, and other friends said they will meet me tomorrow afternoon as well! I let my face make a foolish expression again. Better finish the worksheet before she gets angry again.
