Chapter 2 " Too busy to get married"

The night sky at the outskirts of a city is a mesmerizing sight to behold. The darkness of the night is illuminated by thousands of twinkling stars, and the moon casts a soft glow on the surroundings.

A black luxury car sped down the winding road, it seemed to slice through the darkness like a sleek blade. The headlights illuminated the pavement ahead, revealing the twists and turns of the road with precision.

A powerful man sat in the backseat of a sleek black car, his eyes focused on the phone in his hand. He was dressed impeccably, his expensive suit perfectly tailored to his muscular frame. With a chiseled jawline and piercing eyes, he exuded an air of authority and control that demanded respect.

With his broad shoulders and impeccable sense of style, he looked every bit the part of a leader who could control not just the military, but also the underworld and business world. His reputation preceded him, and his name alone was enough to strike fear into the hearts of those who dared to cross him.

As he listened intently to his butler's report on the newly acquired island, his mind was already working out the details of what he would do with the island.

The car glided smoothly through the city streets, flanked by several other vehicles filled with his loyal bodyguards. The man's focus remained on his phone.

"Young master, the island villa has been prepared for you as per your instructions. However, I must inform you that we have detected some of old master's spies in the area."

The man's features contorted in anger, his jaw tensing as he processed the news. "What does that old man want now?" he spat, his frustration palpable in his voice.

The butler hesitated for a moment, feeling a shiver run down his spine at the man's intense gaze. "He has been trying to contact young master for a week now, but you've been busy with your schedule," he replied carefully, bracing himself for the man's reaction.

Just then, the butler's phone began to ring, and he fumbled to retrieve it from his pocket. With a troubled look, he handed the phone to the man.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to disturb me while I'm working?" the man barked into the phone as soon as he answered.

"you brat !! Is this the way you talk to your grandfather?" came the angry response on the other end of the line. "Do you have no respect left for your elders? I have been trying to contact you for several days, and you have been ignoring me. And for your information, it is already 9:30 pm. Work hours ended at 7:30, give that poor butler some rest my dear grandson."

The old man on the other end of the line let out a deep sigh. "You never change, do you? Always so stubborn and focused on your work. But remember, family comes first. And speaking of family when do you think of starting a family. You are 28 now. I had 4 childrens at your age and yet here you are still unmarried. I have found a beautiful women for you come back and meet her. Don't make her wait too much" the old man huffed.

The old man on the other end of the line let out a deep sigh. "You never change, do you? Always so stubborn and focused on your work. But remember, family comes first. And speaking of family, when do you plan on starting one of your own? You're 28 now, I had four children when I was your age, and yet here you are still unmarried. I have found a beautiful woman for you, come back and meet her." the old man huffed.

The man rolled his eyes, exasperated with his grandfather's persistent nagging. "Old man, I am too busy to get married. Ask your favorite grandson," he said sarcastically.

"Your youngest brother is not my favorite, and as per family tradition, you, being the oldest, should have married first. Since you don't have a girlfriend, let me help you find a sweet and mentally strong wife who can tame you."

"Old man, I don't have time for this. I will think about it when the time is right," he said, his tone firm. "And I don't need your help finding a wife. I can handle that on my own."

He sighed as he ended the call and turned to the butler. "Let's go to the island. I need some peace and quiet away from all this family drama," he said, his voice tinged with frustration.

As they arrived at the docks, the bodyguards sprang into action, opening the car door for the powerful man to step out. He strode confidently towards the waiting boat, his eyes scanning the surroundings with a hawk-like intensity. He knew that with his enemies lurking in the shadows, he could never let his guard down.

"Welcome Prince Ethan Milson and Royal Butler Auden. I am your captain, James Smith. It's an honor to meet your highness," Mr. James bowed. "Hello, Mr. James. I hope you don't address us like this in public. You can address us as Butler Auden and Young Master Ethan. Thank you." "Please forgive me, your highness. The boat is ready to board."

The three of them made their way to the dock, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore filling the air. As they approached the boat, Mr. James gestured towards it with a flourish.

"Here she is, your highness. The most luxurious yacht in the harbor, complete with all the amenities fit for a prince."

Butler Auden nodded appreciatively, while Prince Ethan's eyes scanned the boat with a critical eye as he boarded the yacht, taking in the opulent furnishings and state-of-the-art technology. The butler followed closely behind, his eyes scanning the surroundings. As a waiter came with some classic red wine and serve it to Ethan.

"May I offer you some refreshments, sir?" the waiter asked politely.

"Yes, thank you," he replied, taking the glass of wine and sipping it slowly.

As he settled into the plush sofa, he couldn't help but admire the stunning view of the ocean from the large windows. The waves gently lapping against the shore were a soothing sight, and he knew that he had made the right decision in purchasing this property.

"He turned his attention to his butler, who was already briefing him on the latest report and country news. "Sir, the kidney industry recently collapsed due to the tragic death of the chairman, Hebrew Kednney, and his wife, Silas Kednney, in a car accident. Their daughter is also missing, and it's rumored that their son, Oliver Kednney, killed them over a property dispute. The company is now being run by Hebrew Kednney's youngest brother, Jasper Kednney, and his wife, Rosy Kednney. Additionally, Jasper's daughter married Blair Ford on the day of the accident. Something seems amiss with these Kednneys," Butler Auden scoffed.

"Let's pull all our investments from Kednney Industries. I don't see any future there," he said.

"But young master, if we pull all our investments, they will go bankrupt, and no one will want to invest in them since we are their biggest investor, " Auden replied.

"Let them," Butler Auden nodded, taking out the iPad, But the boat suddenly came to a halt in the middle of the ocean. The bodyguards swiftly surrounded the perimeter of the vessel, scanning for any potential threats.

"What's going on?" Ethan inquired, but his question was met with a troubled-looking Captain James entering the seating area. "I'm sorry to inform you sir, but we came across a floating body in the ocean," he said.

"What?" Ethan's face twisted in disbelief as he heard the captain's words.

Without hesitation, Butler Auden offered to check the situation himself, but Ethan commended on accompanying him. "Let's go together," he declared firmly.

"But-" Butler Auden started to protest, but Ethan had already made up his mind and was walking out.
