Greetings To You

Katherine, slightly pulling her gown up, waited for her car to drive in through the entrance of the palace, she was going to be the queen of. Her heart was left behind as she was refused from denying the aspect of her marriage. In the end, she was made wear the corset, which tightened around her breast preventing her from breathing in. Her neck was decorated with a beautiful necklace of diamonds, the gift of her engagement.

Her hairs were decorated with pearls to impress the prince, her intention differed though. She was sixteen years old, and in this age, except for regrets, no body builds a thing. Her youth had captured the hearts of many and she had openly tossed her heart in open. Yet, she was compelled into dressing like a mature woman and was send to her future husband's house.

She was forced to bury her desires and her name was tagged with her spouse to be. She was shy but her young blood had devoid her of rational thinking. She had this constant urge to kiss her handsome driver, to pull him over to the backseat of the car and do a sin she was forbidden from committing.

Closing her eyes, she could image all the things she would love to do when she felt a jerk. Her eyes opened in shock and she saw through the window a huge gate made of strong metal. The doors opened and her car entered. She watched the beautiful welcome she had received as the future queen of Winona.

Her eyes wandered, gazing over the beautiful decoration. The car reached infront of the threshold of the magnificent palace. She elegantly steps down from her car. The sunshine hit her skin a bit hard, and she felt her skin warming up. Her lady in waiting was there to recieve her. She entered the palace with the thought of her future husband.

Where was the Prince Of Winona? She wondered as she walked through the huge gallery. The paintings of the previous and the current rulers were hanged over the walls. She walked quietly behind her lady in waiting when she encountered the portrait of a handsome young man. Her eyes could not help but be still at the portrait as her steps slowed down. Below the portrait was written the name of that person: Crown Prince Of Winona, Charles Sanford .

That was the portrait of her future husband, her heart skipped a beat at the thought of it. She when was sent here, had little hope of finding her spouse good looking. His blue eyes were enchanting, though that was only the portrait which was incapable of reverting back the passion.

"This is your room Your Highness,My name is Isobel, if you need anything, please call for me.", saying this she left, leaving the princess alone in her room. No sooner did she walk out, Katherine started removing her dress to loosen the corset.

Her dress slipped down on the floor as she stood there breathing heavily.

The ball room was filled with whispers, the King sat on his throne while the Prince waited for the arrival of his princess. The ball gate opened and suddenly the murmurings died. The Prince was exposed to the beautiful Princess Of Winslow. She walked elegantly towards the King and greeted him and the prince. The Prince was left in awe.

This would be the first time he had ever seen someone so beautiful. He kept staring at her till his eyes met hers, her lips streched into a smile and stole his heart the very moment it happened. The prince finally greeted her, " Greetings to you princess, I am Charles."
