Chapter 1

it was all numb for a minute or two.

I tried to open my eyes. it was quite dark and noisy. My head, it was hurting so badly that i couldn't even feel my other bodyparts."Accident! There is an accident on swallow st"-- someone.I looked at myself..it was blood..all over my body...from the head to foot....

I never thought i would die like this and also never thought that one day i would love my life so much,that i would want to live..even just for once ...

I want to live, for myself...for him...

"I never thought that i would feel this way until i met u"..

8 MONTH BEFORE THE ACCIDENT

Mom and dad drove me to the airport. i could tell that they are trying their best to act normal....this was the first time i was going somewhere to live for a long ....

"Jane" my mom said to me " You will be alright babe..."

"yeah!i know" i said

" jane,charlie will receive you at the airport "-dad said.It was dad's idea to complete my graduation at Olympic college .I didn't have any plan for my graduation so it was quite fine.

"Yeah,okey"-- i said.

I almost look like my mother but my eyes are more like my dad.

" We will see you soon sweetie, take cake"- mom insisted and hugged me tightly. "Call us after you reach home"-dad told with another hug.i was always my dad's favorite.I could fell the emotions through their eyes. i replied in a low voice -"Hmm,ok"with a smile.Than i got on the plane. It was a 6 hour flight from California to port angeles.

Charlie was waiting for me at the airport as expected. " hey! jane,here"- he yelled,standing next to the exit gate.

" hey uncle char" - i said and move toward him .He gave me one handed hug and said-" Woh! jane you look taller "." Good to see you uncle" i said with a unprepared smile. Charlie is my dad's younger brother. i am going to live in Charlie's house from now. He helped me with my luggages.There was a awkward silence in the car until he asked-" How are your mom,dad?"

" They are good"- i replied. It was almost 1 hour drive back to home,and charlie didn't stop asking questions during this period.

It was twilight when we reached home.Aunt Mary and shera( Charlie's daughter)welcome me with a warm hug.Shera took me upstairs ,i got my bedroom right beside her's.

"Do you like it"-she asked ."it's really nice thanks shera" .Then i called mom.After dinner Charlie gave me some documents related to college . " You can start college from tomorrow "Charlie said sitting on the couch." it's good, really excited for tomorrow " - i lied. i went to my room,to sleep.I was quite tired so i fall in sleep within 10 mins.
