The forgotten song

I strolled down the side path walking alone under the warm sunset light.

Few cars rolled down the street of that place.

"I wonder what all this flashbacks are about" he said kicking small stones in his way.

He stopped under the tree with dry leaves falling down with the call of the wind. He looked up at the leaves that would fall one after other as wind blew by

"sa...to... chan" I said almost whispered to the breeze

Haru not only wanted to know who Sato was but also who he was...from all those small fragments of memories he recalled almost like a dream.

*flashback* *"Haru kun, this place " the blurry face pointed at the near cliff of the countryside.

He started walking slowly to the place little did he know what she was saying.

*"haru kun...this pla^#.....is my fa^#ur..ite"*

I walked to the place pacing slowly with curiosity and confusion.

I paused after watching what was in front of me.

A gust of wind trying to push me away from the place blew a little wilder. Leaves were cleared from the place along with the wind.

My eyes gazed at the scenery in front of me.

*" Sato-chan, th..^% is bea&^#/ull "*

I head hurt after what flashed inside as if it was saying you should not forget it.

The sun was diving into the sky binding farewell to this side of the world promising that it will come again. The sky was covered with golden sheet and the clouds reflected the many colours of sunset.

I did not blink my eyes. This place was something that everyone dreamed off.

*"Haru kun...." she said the face still blurry "I l^#e y&_"

Her hair floated in the breeze along with her white long dress .*

"who are..you??" I asked tears stared rolling down my cheek " huh!? why am I crying?" I wiped the warm tears and took a long breath.

I walked back to my house. It was already night time till then.

I boiled some water and made ramen.

The wind roared outside the window.The moon was out and the stars twinkled.

I opened TV and started going through different channels.

It was around 12:42. The backdoor was open and peaceful wind was flowing inside.

The wind chimes was making their sound along with far away dog barks.

In this silence....I heard a song with a beautiful voice.

Not from tv but from somewhere .. it echoed.

"yoru no machi mayoishi kegare no ranpo

I remembered the song "this song" I said. The voice was as soft as a cotton as it reached my ears.

kono mama kono mama yukou....."

I followed the voice to my balcony till then I picked up the rhythm of the song.I paused after what I saw there.

"...itetsuki yuki no naka de

tashikana netsu o obita

kokyuu o shite koe o yaite

moeta moeta misogi no hi...."

"...saa en no kakine o koeta

anata o motto shiritai

ienai mama ienai mama

itsu no ma ni ka yuki wa ameni narimashita...."

"...yoaka mae anata wa sousou to

koko kare deta itte shimatta

anna ninaite ito noni

koboreta koboreta...."

"...ima made arigato san nante

iwanaide yo oitekanaide

kitto kaereyashinai

kono mama, kono mama...."

The mild breeze blew her black hair in the wind. Those blue eyes were looking towards the moon and her pale skin reflected in the moonlight.

That night, in the balcony I saw her singing......
