Alone....

It's been few years, and yet, I'm still alone...

Come to think of it, I'm always alone. That always crossed my mind when I was thinking. Was I meant to be this way? What did I do to deserve this?

I lost my mother at the age of three. Lost my father when I wasn't even born yet. Lived with my grandparents ever since. Now, I've moved to the city. Living alone, I'm a part-timer, which is also a student.

Your usual seventeen years old boy, like I said, usual. Life as ordinary as everyday. Study-maniac, if I put it simply. I used to be outgoing...

Not until I had a fight on the first month of the high-school year.

A girl, could be said popular in my class, was asking me if I could help her with her studies.

(Not to brag, but I'm an ace student)

She is an outgoing and friendly girl, close to her classmates, and have a boyfriend. At that moment, I was quite busy, and ended up having to refused her request. After all, even I was having hard time studying.

Who would've thought, that day is the very day I regretted the most?

Her boyfriend comes up to me, while I'm on my way to work. He brought his friends along, simply put, he was already planning something from the beginning.

Just because his girlfriend didn't tell him anything, and talked to me instead, I was getting beat.

Four against one, is that fair?

Her boyfriend ended up being hospitalized, because that night, after our fight, he was involved in another fight.

Or should be put, a gang fight.

His condition spread to the whole school, and his friends put the blame on me, not just that, I ended up being suspended for a whole year. I became a repeater, and I was depress for nearly half of a year.

That was such a regretful decision, that I changed a lot throughout the year. Today is a new day, and I've braced myself with all the gossips that will soon be heard.

Now that I'm going to the high-school as a first year once again, I had to prevent everything that will give me problem. I must, otherwise I won't be finishing school any sooner.

A new year, with a different attitude from before, and new things to do. That goddamn couple must have been having good time, when I was the one enduring.

I'll let them be... it's not like anything would change if I get revenge anyway. Forgiving is better than avenging, that is what my grandparents always told me.

After all, I've find peace nowadays...
