Misunderstood

Kris'POV

"Kris, what are you doing there?"

I was hiding inside of the cabinet. My whole body were trembling while my hands covered my ears.

"Don't be afraid, I'm always here."

I felt the warmth of her hug. I made myself dependent and be comfortable from her hugs and from her touch, now I'm yearning of that warmth everytime...

"Don't worry Kris, I'll never leave you."

..but now, you're gone.

It was then I realized, I already woke up while can't hold the tears falling from my eyes.

I hate this.

I looked at beside me and I just remembered that I was still here at Kai's house, at Kai's room and Kai's bed!

We've been staring for a seconds and after that I came back to my senses.

"Agghh!! A-Amazon?!"

I hurriedly wiped my tears and get out from his bed.

"You're already awake?!" I asked.

"I just woke up." He said while getting out from his bed.

"I just want to ask,.. why are you crying while staring at the ceiling?" He innocently asked.

I threw pillow at him and immediately opened the door and stepped out.

"Curse you Amazon!"

The whole place covered with silence except for the spoon and forks clashing through the plate. We're all here in the dining area and I was like a statue here that can't even breath.

All of us remained silent until the silence snapped when the queen spoke.

"You're grandparents called, they want you to visit them." Kai's mom said.

"Do want to come?" Kai whispered at me.

Why are you asking me? I want to go home.

We all finished eating so everyone stood up one after another.

It's hard to stand up nor walk properly because my whole body is aching. It was when I carried Kai all the way here so I was slightly limping right now.

I noticed they all stared at me.

"Krisseth is your hips and legs are okay? Is there something happened last night" Kai's mother asked.

Something happened? Yep! A lot of things happened.

"Yes." I innocently answered.

"I brought Kai here then we slept together." I added politely while thinking the hardships I went through last night.

They suddenly had a shocked face on them. They staring at each like they're talking with their eyes.

Did I said something wrong?

"Ah! I think you both should go now. Don't let your grandparents wait." Her mother said while pushing us out from the door.

"And Kai, you should limit yourself. Krisseth may not be able to cope it." Her mother reminded.

Is she talking about Kai's getting drunk and I'm the one who carried him?.. Maybe it is.

"Don't worry auntie, I'll tell Kai to slow down next time." I smiled at them.

They're shocked again and they're been completely muted.
