Her entry in my life

It was a normal day, me being spoiled, a rotten girl waking up just to go to school because on the first day of this new semester, everyone should know what a cool classmate my class is going to have.

At school, without having anything for breakfast. I reached there and in the corridor I was running and giving high-fives to my friends. Then I felt like time stopping on its own, when I saw her.

I didn't realize I was staring at her, but it was good she didn't notice. Otherwise, she would think of me as some kind of creep. But not looking at was like a crime. I even wanted to meet to and talk to her face to face, but I was interpreted by nosy, so called handsome and full of attitude, none other than Ryan.

Ryan is my father's best friend's son. He acts like he is the boss in the school, but in front of his father, he acts like an angel fell from heaven. He is the only child in his house, so he is apple of the eyes of his parents.

As I was disgusted by seeing him. Then suddenly, bell rung, and to be honest, for the first time, I was happy that it rang.

I sat at my desk as usual at the back because we all know backbenchers belong to the back of the class. The teacher greeted us, and then she introduced us to a new transferred student. The student was none other than her.

She told us she is deaf, but she is so incredibly intelligent that she got 299/300 in our entrance exam. I was surprised cause our topper even got half of her because of how tough it is.

The teacher told us her name is Elena. I was surprised because my name is Emily, and we both have E in the beginning. Then the teacher made her sit in front of my desk. I was happy and sad also because next to her was Ryan.

I was like, why did God do this to me. The classes were going on, and I was looking at her. Even though she couldn't hear, she was paying attention as if she was hearing, and when the teacher asked her to write the answer, she wrote the correct answer every time. I was shocked.

At recess, I reached out to her. Then I started talking, and she gave me a weird look. Then, I realized my mistake and immediately apologized. She laughed, and I was mesmerized by her look. Then she snapped her fingers, and I came back to my senses.

Then I took my bag and quickly teared a page, and I wrote, " Hello, My name is Emily." and showed the paper to her. And then she read and wrote," Hi, my name is Elena, and nice to meet you."

Then we communicated with each other like this, and then suddenly I felt bored with the way of our conversation. So I wrote whether she could teach me sign language so we could have better conversation, and she responded yes.

Then the recess was over the I wrote apologize to her for disturbing her and thanked her for her time to me . After school was over, I went to a book shop for the first time and brought a book that teaches sign language, and at home, I practiced it . I was surprised by myself because I was first time this serious to learn something.
