leaving her for good

I don't know how to not be sad and be happier for her. But all I know what to do is not let her know about my feelings.

Yesterday, she told me, and to be honest, I don't really trust Ryan. I really will want him to be like the one he was in the past and be great for her.

Today, as usual, after school, I was doing work at Café. A customer was standing and saying my name at first I thought It was one of my friend who loves to come almost every day to have his usual coffee, so I accidentally called his name since I was busy with too much.

Then, a familiar voice corrected me, saying it's Ryan. Then I realized the customer was none other than Ryan. I hesitated at first, and then I asked him what he wanted. He asked me whether I was free, and he said he wanted to talk to me something important.

I told my colleagues to look for a while from me, and kindly she did. Then I and Ryan sat on one of the tables.

He surprisingly apologized after all those years. I asked him why he apologized, and he said for the past thing he had done and said he had no guts to say it earlier. I forgive him because Elena taught once me to always forgive everyone . Then I got up to go back to my work, but he stopped me by saying there is something you need to know. So I sat again.

Then he told me his part of the story of that day. We both knew our fathers used to be friends, but my father was so successful that time. I didn't know that his father was jealous of mine.

One day, somehow, his father came to know that his mother used to love my father, but she left my dad by confessing him for the last, since my father was in a relationship with my mother. And she was forced to arrange marriage. So his father used that fact to threaten Ryan by ordering him to either make me steal those important papers or let his mother die. So he had no choice but to do that.

I asked him why he was telling me now. He answered by saying his father was dead now. I asked him when, he said a few months ago.

At last, he looked in my eyes sadly and asked me if we could be friends again. I smiled and hugged him instantly and said yes.

Then he looked at his watch and said he had to go. He had a date. My heart ached a little, but I still smiled and waved him goodbye. And I got back to work.

For a few months, I kept looking at both of them to make sure everything was right . Thank God everything was fine.

I was kind of happy to see that Ryan is the good one for her, actually. I finally felt I left her in good hands .
