The eerie lullaby (part 1)

Julie was a mischievous girl, always stirring up trouble wherever. People whispered behind her back, calling hr a little troublemaker- and she seemed to wear the title like a little badge of honor. She loved exploring places she wasn't supposed to, sneaking into empty rooms, and testing the limits of what she could get away with. Her curiosity often got her into sticky situations, but Julie didn't mind. To her every scolding glance and whispered warning was just another part of the adventure.

But there was one place in the village that even Julie hesitated to go: the forest near her house. Dark and tangled, it looked like a shadow at the edge of everything similar. She had heard countless stories about children disappearing there in the dead of night, vanishing without a trace. The villagers spoke of strange noises - rustling leaves sounded like whispers, tall trees and shadows moved when no one was there. Though Julie was brave - perhaps curious - her little heart always pounded when she heard the stories and thought of venturing too far into its depths.

One night, Julie lay awake in her bed, unable to fall asleep. For some reason, she sat up and gazed into the window. The forest looked darker and more alive than ever, its twisted casting long, claw like shadows across the ground. Despite the fear curling in her stomach, curiosity bubbled inside her. What if... She went into the forest?

She wondered what if she ignored the warning of the elders. Then, almost as if the forest itself was calling her, a faint whispering voice drifted on the wind, singing a haunting lullaby:

"Come, little children.... Come to play"

Julie slipped out of her bed and grabbed a lantern. Quietly, opened the door and stepped into the night. The lanterns glow trembled across the path, barely pushing back the darkness. A cold wind sliced through the trees, carrying the scent of damp leaves. Every step made her heart pound faster. The distant howls of wolves echoed through the forest, blending with rustling leaves and soft sighs of unseen creatures. Her hand shook as she clutched the lantern, but still something drew her forward.

Suddenly, the eerie lullaby grew louder, closer, weaving itself around her mind. Julie felt her legs move on its own, carrying her deeper into the forest. Cold and expressionless, she walked, and her small feet finally stopped in front of an abandoned mansion. It's windows were dark and cracked and the air around it felt heavier.

Julie snapped back to her senses and froze. In front of her, a swing moved gently on its own. Swaying in the windless night. No one was around, yet the air seemed thick with invisible eyes. Something was watching her. She spun around, heart hammering, but the forest and the mansion were empty. Panic surged through her. She tried to run... But her feet wouldn't move, as if invisible hands had gipped her, holding her in place.
