The eerie lullaby (part 2)

Meanwhile, Julie's mother woke suddenly and went to check on her daughter. But Julie's bed was empty.

"Where is she?" Panic rose in her chest. Something felt terribly wrong. Would her little troublemaker disappear just like the stories warned? She searched the house frantically, calling her name, but there was no sign of her. Her heart told her to go to the forest. She hesitated. But finally, fear gripping her heart, she ventured into the forest, hoping she wasn't too late.

The forest looked more alive than ever. The long tree's twisted branches looked like some creatures. She wasn't thinking about anything but , Julie.

Her mother found her lying near the swing, pale and cold as ice. Relief washed over her as she kissed Julie's forehead and carried her home.

Back in the safety of their house, she sat beside Julie, holding her close. Suddenly, Julie bolted upright, sobbing uncontrollably. Her mother tried to calm her.

"I am here, Julie" she whispered softly, but it was no use.

Julie clutched her mother's hand tightly. "Mommy... They will take me away! Far away from you… Save me! Don't let them take me away! I promise... I will always listen to you!" she was trembling with fear. She refused to fall asleep. Sobbing uncomfortably.

Finally, Julie calmed down and fell into a deep, exhausted sleep. Her mother tried to stay awake, but the long night had worn her out, and he drifted off without even noticing.

The next Morning, warm sunlight streamed across her face slowly, she opened her eyes and glanced beside her... Her heart skipped a beat. The bed was empty.

"Julie..." She whispered, her voice trembling. Where is her little troublemaker?

She raced back to the abandoned mansion - the very spot where she had found Julie the night before. There... On the cold cracked ground... Lay Julie's body. Her head was... GONE.

Her mother collapsed in tears, her little troublemaker... But the swing still swayed gently, as if someone were watching her cry. The wind whispered through the broken windows, carrying the faintest echo of that haunting lullaby.

Inside the mansion, Julie's spirit watched silently, unseen by her mother. She could see everything. But could not be reached. Her eyes glimmered in the shadows, looking at her mother silently. she tried to call her mother but she knew her mother could not hear her. Looking at her mother from distance, the broken glass of the window.she regreted her curiosity the night before and now Julie was just one of the countless lost souls, trapped among the missing, forever part of the forest's dark secret.

And the swing... It would not stop.
