'm thinking too much i guess. i didn't like the idea of leaving Seraphina all alone at the royal ball (it was royal ball wasn't it). the things which could've remained between two people; husband and wife and could've been solved in their own privacy, became kind of public (I hope readers understand my point). even if he did it out of anger, he shouldn't have done too much. he only (in my opinion) worsened the things for Seraphina as so called already mocks her, he added fuel to it by leaving her alone at ball. i guess he should realise his mistake. please note, I'm not agreeing with behaviour of Seraphina, but if we try to understand her, we can see people like her in real life too. people like her need...a lot of time to adjust, understand their emotions, situations. after this drunk incident, all the hopes she built crumbled down in a minute. I'm not saying she should hide things or just think that she can do it without any help. In my opinion, she just needed time to talk things out with ML, which ML should have given to her, given he was aware about what kind of environment Seraphina had been living for a long period of time. he should've also noted the fact that she was honest to him, atleast about her serpent identity and revenge plan regarding to his family. so i believe he should've waited a bit too long, allowing Seraphina to analyse the situation properly then telling him.

he is right in his view and she is right in her view but problem is he doesn't remember what he said to her that made her sad or I say lifeless
