Men are ruthless, especially if they have powers. That's why in the past I never chase them. Here, we spend our tea time in his study. Me and my new fiancé, The emperor. Or they always called him the demon king. He doesn't seem like one, though. I sip my tea slowly, inhaled the sweet fragrance of it. Both of us didn't say a single word other than greetings since I came here. We only silently observed each other.

I wish to roll my eyes this time. There's no one would fall for his scheme unless they're stupid. And I who no longer betrothed with anyone, is a perfect candidate for that role.

" I wish to choose my lady-in-waiting by myself. I choose only one, the rest of it, you can choose it for me. I have chosen Lady Devi Belvery, she's the Count Belvery's daughter." I stated, Abhimanyu silently smile while playing with his tea.

After I leave from his room. The maidservant then led me to my chamber while I stay in the Palace. And let me rest before lunch.

I take the pillow and put it to cover my face. I scream out my stress. And cussing until my anger subsided.

Shameless. Argh!

Yet, he was so beautiful. How can a man be that beautiful? No, he's not only beautiful but also that muscle of his. Oh god.

No. Wake up, Gea! Stop drooling of that shameless man.

I threw my pillow and kicking my duvet angrily.

" Don't hurt your feet" a hand suddenly stopped my feet from moving. I scream in fright. While Abhimanyu laughed.

" What did you do in here?" I asked angrily.

"Oh. I'm here to see my dear wife." He says as he kissed my feet. I can feel the heat in my face. Shameless.

"Don't hurt it again." I pouted. I know. Don't say it twice. He laughed and pinched my cheeks.

"Your eyes beautiful" I blurted out my mind.

"I know. So are you falling in love with me?"

"Get lost." He laughed hard. As I take the duvet to cover me. He opened the duvet and kiss my forehead.

"Rest for a while. I'll see you again." I blinked in surprise. He-he kisses my forehead. Really shameless!

There's nothing special happened for these two weeks after I stay at the palace to get the Queen education.

Abhimanyu busy as always. But we will meet at dinner. Sometimes he accompanying me in my room. And then his counsellor will get him to work, remind him not to lazy. It's happened every day.

"Arjuna will angry again if you didn't attend the morning court." I said while playing with his long hair. His head in my tight and he's closed his eyes.

"It's boring. It's better to sleep in my wife tight," he said

"Shameless."

"Only you dare to call me that." His eyes dancing happily.

"I called you shameless. Why are you so happy?"

“As long it's you. I'm happy,” he stated cheerfully.

Ah, really. This man is so heartless. How come he can spout sweet-talk easily.

"Irene." He called me and caressing my face. Our eyes locked.

"Hmm" I hummed.

"I love you." His hand pinched my cheeks, then peck my lips.

" I know" But I felt nothing.

Today, the palace is busy. I can see the maidservant running their errands. They're preparing a banquet after my wedding.

Tomorrow. I have to stand in front of the lord and take a vow.

I never thought I will marry.

Somehow, I felt restless.

Both of us has standing in front of the priest. I can feel his stare on me.

"In front of our Lord, Your Majesty, do you take Her highness, Princess Irene, to be your lawfully wedded wife? Do promise to love and cherish her, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, and forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto her, for so long as you both shall live?"

"In front os our Lord. Your Highness, do you take His Majesty to be your lawfully wedded husband? Do promise to love and cherish him, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, and forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto him, for so long as you both shall live?

"I do"

We exchange rings and kiss each hand.

" The groom may kiss the bride"

"Now. Both of you have become husband and wife"
