Anne was lying in her room and thinking about the Duchess's behavior towards her, she was moved because since she had been sold until now, she had only kept hearing news about the servant who had been tortured by her master until she was disabled and even died.

After receiving greetings from Vernalto and the soldiers, Evallyna{Kate}, who felt uneasy because she did not see the presence of Lord Duke, began to ask Vernalto, who was Lord Duke's personal assistant as well as a trusted knight, about the Duke's whereabouts.

“Vernalto, why don’t I see Lord Duke?” said Evallyna{Kate}.

Get straight to the point, Vernalto,” said Evallyna{Kate}.

“Al-alright, Lady Duchess,” said Vernalto.

After that, Vernalto directly informed Evallyna{Kate} that after arriving in the capital, Lord Duke went straight to the palace with two soldiers to report to His Majesty and ordered me to take the remaining soldiers to go to the Duke’s residence.
