Episode 1 - The night

Elena walked in the rain seeked for somewhere to stay even for one night because she's cold. Then she remembers a place that are near her which is Julian. At first, she hesitates to knocked but as she wants to knock the door is open. It's Julian ready to go to the gym.

His eyes widened when he saw her disheveled hair, swollen eyes and one hand supporting her pregnant belly. She looked shattered and he felt something inside him twist painfully.

"Elena..." His voice softened in whisper.

She couldn't speak. She just stand there, thrembling until her knees buckled slightly. Julian caught her immediatly, guiding her inside carefully with one hand support her back and the other support her belly.

"Sit here. I go make a hot chocolate for you." he said gently, bringing her to the couch.

Elena sit slowly on the couch, staring at nothing. She keep thinking about what she saw. The image of Adrian and Brianna in bed hooking up still played in her head. She feels like she want to cry but there's no tear. She just there thinking what she had done wrong to Adrian. The silence in her chest scared more than the betrayal itself.

After 5 minutes, Julian back with the hot chocolate and a chocolate chip cookies. Then, Julian put the hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies on the coffee table and crouched infront of her with both his hands on Elena thigh.

"Tell me what happened. Why you walked alone in the rain?" he ask softly while his eyes stared at her eyes.

She took a breath but the moment she tried to speak, her throat closed up. Tears begin to filled her eyes again.

Julian didn't push her to speak. He get closer and cupped her cheek with both hands and use his thumbs to wipe the tears. He can see how it broke Elena and want to know who make Elena hurt like this.

"It hurts." she whispered. "Everything hurts."

"I know." Julian murmured. "Just breathe. I'm here. You can tell what happened when you're ready. Do not force yourself."

It took ten minutes before she could form words.

"I saw them..." she finally said. Her voice thrembled as she remember everything. "Adrian....and Brianna. Brianna is my bestfriend."

Julian's jaw tightened instantly, but he forced his expression to stay calm for her sake. "What he do to her? Did he touch her? Tell me." he asked quietly.

Elena nodded, her lips quivering. "In our room, on our bed. They making out. I was excited that time to show him the ultrasound and to reveal the gender and i got another suprise." She said while smiling.

Julian closed his eyes briefly, fighting the anger rising in his chest. He wanted to protect her, but he also wanted to break his brother's face. Still, he stayed beside her.

"You don't deserve this." he said. "Not you. Not the baby. What's the gender?."

Elena's tears fell again at the mention of the child. She placed both her hands on her belly, holding it as if shielding it from the truth.

"It's a boy..I don't have anyone." she whispered. "I don't have a home. I don't know what to do next."

Julian leaned forward and gently took her shaking hands. "You have me."

Elena startled and look at Julian. His voice wasn't pitying or hesitant but it was firm, certain and warm.

"This house is yours. Stay as long as you need." he continued. "I'll take care of everything."

Elena's breath hitched. "Julian...Thank you but i don't want to be a burden."

He shook his head immediatly. "You could never be a burden to me.

The last part slipped out before he could stop it but he didn't take it back.

Silence filled the room, deep and soft. Then out of nowhere, the baby kicked hard enough to make Elena gasp. Julian instinctively reached out and place his hand on her belly.

She froze. He froze too. Then, the baby kicked again, right under his palm. Elena's eyes filled with tears, not from pain but from something she couldn't name.

Julian whispered, "It's like he know his mommy hurting."

She nodded slowly, trying to steady her breathing. "Maybe he do."

Julian looked at her gently, his voice low. "Elena... you're safe here. I promise. I will taking care of you and the baby."

And for the first time since her world collapsed, she actually believed it
