FATED LOVE 2

The bed creaked beneath them as they tumbled back down together, bodies colliding, heat rising once more. For now, the world outside didn't matter. For now, it was just them-tangled in sheets and secrets, bound together by an obsession that neither could let go.

But deep down, Taehyung knew this would destroy them in the end.

The days blurred together after that night. They continued their secret meetings, always in the dark, always in hushed whispers. The lies piled up faster than either of them could keep track of, but they were too far gone to care.

For Jungkook, it was simple. Taehyung was his, and that was all that mattered. He didn't care about the consequences or the fallout. He only cared about the heat of Taehyung's skin against his, the way their bodies fit together like they were made for each other. He wanted more-always more.

But for Taehyung, the cracks were beginning to show. He was suffocating under the weight of itall the lies to Eunwoo, the guilt that gnawed at him every time he looked at his husband, knowing that he was betraying him with his own brother. Yet, every time he tried to pull away, Jungkook would pull him back in with those dark eyes, that possessive touch that made him feel like he was the center of Jungkook's world.

One night, after another clandestine meeting, Taehyung lay awake in bed, staring at the ceiling while Eunwoo slept soundly beside him. The guilt felt heavier than ever. He couldn't keep doing this, but he didn't know how to stop. He loved Jungkook-or at least he thought he did. But this kind of love, the kind built on secrecy and betrayal, was tearing him apart.

He couldn't keep hurting Eunwoo like this.

The next morning, Taehyung woke up with a decision. He had to end it with Jungkook. No matter how much it hurt, no matter how much he wanted to stay with him, he couldn't continue this way.

Jungkook was waiting for him, as always, in their usual spot-a small, private room at the far end of the Jeon family estate, hidden away from prying eyes. When Taehyung walked in, Jungkook's face lit up in that way it always did when they were alone together. He immediately pulled Taehyung into his arms, his lips pressing against Taehyung's neck.

But Taehyung stiffened in his embrace.

Jungkook pulled back, frowning. "What's wrong?"

Taehyung took a deep breath, his heart hammering in his chest. He couldn't look Jungkook in the eye, not yet. If he did, he knew he would lose his resolve.

"We need to stop this," Taehyung said quietly, his voice barely above a whisper. "I can't do this anymore, Jungkook."

For a moment, there was silence. Then, Jungkook's grip on Taehyung tightened. "What are you talking about?" His voice was calm, but there was a dangerous edge to it.

"I can't keep lying to Eunwoo," Taehyung said, finally forcing himself to meet Jungkook's gaze. "This isn't right. We're going to hurt him."

Jungkook's jaw clenched, his eyes narrowing. "He doesn't matter," he said, his voice cold. "We matter. What we have matters."

Taehyung shook his head, tears brimming in his eyes. "Jungkook, we can't keep doing this. It's not fair to him."

Jungkook's expression darkened, and he grabbed Taehyung's wrist, pulling him closer. "Don't say that," he growled. "Don't say you want to end this."

Taehyung's heart raced in his chest as he felt the intensity of Jungkook's hold. This was exactly what he feared. Jungkook's obsession had only grown stronger over time, and now, it felt like he was being trapped in a cage of his own making.

"I love you," Jungkook whispered fiercely, his eyes wild with emotion. "I need you, Taehyung. You're mine."

Taehyung's breath hitched at the possessiveness in Jungkook's voice, but he couldn't let this continue. As much as he wanted to stay, as much as he craved Jungkook's touch, this wasn't healthy. It was destroying both of them.

"No, Jungkook," Taehyung said softly, trying to keep his voice steady. "I can't do this anymore."

Jungkook's grip tightened, and for a moment, Taehyung thought he might never let go. But then, something shifted in Jungkook's eyes, and he slowly released Taehyung's wrist, stepping back.

"You're lying," Jungkook said, his voice shaking with barely controlled rage. "You don't want to leave me. You can't leave me."

Tears welled up in Taehyung's eyes as he took a step back, shaking his head. "I'm sorry, Jungkook," he whispered. "I have to."

Jungkook's face contorted with anger, and for a moment, Taehyung thought he might lash out.

But then, Jungkook's expression crumbled, and he sank to his knees, his hands trembling as he reached for Taehyung's leg.

"Please," Jungkook whispered, his voice breaking. "Please don't leave me, Tae. I love you. I can't do this without you."

Taehyung's heart shattered at the sight of Jungkook on his knees, begging him to stay. But this wasn't love. This was obsession, and it was consuming them both.

"I love you too," Taehyung said, his voice thick with emotion. "But this...this isn't right."

Jungkook looked up at him, his eyes filled with desperation and pain. "Then make it right," he pleaded. "Leave him. Leave Eunwoo and be with me."

Taehyung's breath caught in his throat, the weight of Jungkook's words crashing down on him. He wanted to, more than anything. But it wasn't that simple. It never was.

"I can't," Taehyung whispered, his voice breaking.

Jungkook's face twisted with fury, and he stood abruptly, his hands balled into fists. "You're choosing him?" he spat. "After everything we've been through, you're choosing him?"

Tears spilled down Taehyung's cheeks as he shook his head. "It's not about choosing," he said quietly. "It's about doing the right thing."

Jungkook's chest heaved with anger, and for a moment, Taehyung thought he might explode. But then, Jungkook's shoulders slumped, and he turned away, running a hand through his hair.

"Fine," Jungkook muttered, his voice barely audible. "If that's what you want."

Taehyung took a step forward, reaching out to touch Jungkook's arm, but Jungkook flinched away from him.

"I'll go," Taehyung whispered, his heart breaking with every word. "But I'll never stop caring about you."

Jungkook didn't respond. He stood there, staring at the wall, his back rigid, his body tense. Taehyung knew he couldn't stay any longer. If he did, he'd be pulled back into the same toxic cycle.

With a final, heart-wrenching look at Jungkook, Taehyung turned and walked out the door, leaving behind the man he loved more than he'd ever admit But as he walked away, the weight of what he'd done settled heavily on his shoulders. He didn't know if he'd made the right choice, but it was the only one he could live with.

The door closed behind him, the sound echoing in the silence.

And for the first time, Taehyung felt truly alone.

As Taehyung walked away, each step heavier than the last, a gnawing feeling twisted in his chest. It was as though the walls around him were closing in, suffocating him with the weight of his choices. His feet dragged across the wooden floor as he made his way down the hall, away from Jungkook, away from the forbidden relationship he had entangled himself in.

But before he could take another step toward his supposed freedom, a figure appeared at the end of the hallway, shrouded in the dim light of the early morning. Taehyung's breath caught in his throat as his heart sank.

It was Eunwoo.

He was standing still, his hands clenched by his sides, his face pale. His usually calm and kind features were twisted in a mixture of disbelief, pain, and quiet fury. The weight of the silence between them was suffocating, and Taehyung felthis blood run cold.

"E-Eunwoo..." Taehyung stammered, his voice barely a whisper. His throat felt tight, as if the words were choking him.

Eunwoo didn't say anything at first. His eyes darted back and forth between Taehyung and the door that led to the room where Jungkook still lingered, a grim realization settling in.

"How long?" Eunwoo's voice broke the silence, his words clipped and hollow. His expression betrayed nothing, but Taehyung could see the storm brewing in his eyes.

Taehyung's heart thundered in his chest. He wanted to lie, to protect Eunwoo from the cruel truth, but there was no point. The damage was done. There was no taking back what he had heard.

"Eunwoo, I-"

"How long, Taehyung?" Eunwoo's voice cracked as he cut him off, his composure starting to falter. His hands trembled, fists shaking at his sides, and his chest heaved as he struggled to keep his emotions in check.

Taehyung felt his own throat tighten. His eyes dropped to the floor, unable to meet Eunwoo's piercing gaze. "I'm sorry," Taehyung whispered, his voice barely audible, "I never meant for it to happen..."

"That's not what I asked," Eunwoo snapped, his voice rising as the hurt began to seep through the cracks. "How long?"

Taehyung swallowed, knowing he couldn't hide anymore. He forced himself to answer, each word feeling like it cut deeper. "A few months."

Eunwoo let out a bitter laugh, a hollow, broken sound that sent a chill down Taehyung's spine. "Months... So while I've been working, coming home to you, thinking that we were... that we had something, you've been sneaking around with him. With my brother."

Taehyung's eyes filled with tears. "I never meant to hurt you, Eunwoo. I"

"You never meant to hurt me?" Eunwoo cut him off again, his voice breaking as he took a step forward, his expression torn between disbelief and heartbreak. "How can you say that, Taehyung? You've been lying to me, sleeping with him behind my back... And you're saying you didn't mean to hurt me?"

Taehyung's hands shook as he tried to hold back the tears threatening to spill down his cheeks. "I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry..."

Eunwoo's lips twisted into a bitter smile. "Sorry? You're sorry? Is that supposed to make this better?" His voice cracked again, and for the first time, Taehyung saw the tears welling up in Eunwoo's eyes.

"I know it won't fix anything," Taehyung whispered, his voice trembling. "I know I've hurt you, and I hate myself for it. But this... It's more complicated than you think. I"

"You love him," Eunwoo interrupted, his voice soft, but the pain in his words was unmistakable. His eyes bore into Taehyung's, searching for the truth he already knew.

Taehyung's breath hitched. He couldn't answer. Not when the truth would only deepen the wound.

Eunwoo's shoulders slumped, and he let out a shaky breath. "I've been a fool, haven't I?" he whispered, more to himself than to Taehyung. "I should've seen it... I should've known."

Taehyung felt the weight of his own guilt pressing down on him like a vice. He wanted to say something, anything, but the words wouldn't come. All he could do was stand there, frozen in place, watching as the man he'd betrayed slowly crumbled before him.

"I trusted you," Eunwoo said, his voice barely above a whisper now. "I trusted both of you."

Tears finally spilled from Taehyung's eyes as hereached out toward Eunwoo, his heart breaking at the sight of his husband in so much pain.

"Eunwoo, please-"

But Eunwoo stepped back, his hand raised to stop him. "Don't," he said quietly, his voice thick with emotion. "Don't touch me."

Taehyung's hand fell to his side, his fingers curling into a fist. He had never felt so powerless, so helpless.

"I think you should go," Eunwoo said after a long moment of silence, his voice steady despite the tears glistening in his eyes. "Pack your things and leave."

Taehyung's heart shattered into a thousand pieces. He knew this moment would come, but hearing it out loud made the reality of it so much harder to bear.

"I'm sorry," Taehyung whispered one last time, his voice breaking. He knew it wasn't enough, but it was all he had left to give.

Eunwoo didn't respond. He simply turned away, his back to Taehyung, and walked down the hall, disappearing into the shadows without another word.

Taehyung stood there for what felt like an eternity, the silence around him deafening. He knew there was no going back. No undoing what had been done. He had made his choice, and now,he had to live with the consequences.

With a heavy heart, Taehyung turned and walked away, his footsteps echoing in the empty halls. He didn't look back, knowing that the life he had known was over, and the man he had loved was lost to him forever.
