How is this possible?

"My name is Dr Elena, Aris"

She said as she shifted her glasses to sit on the bridge of her nose. I don't even know how I caught up with her words.

My wolf was too busy jumping inside. Luckily, I was able to restrain it. Everything about her was driving me nuts, it was as if the whole room went quiet just because of her presence.

Her ginger hair fluttered perfectly over her shoulders, her freckles made her cheek bones even more beautiful and don't get me started with her blue eyes. They are to die for.

Wait, was I falling for her. No, not possible. How could that be? Why should it be? The crazy part was that she was human, I could tell from her scent. My wolf couldn't stop acting up.

"Caleb, are you there?"

Her voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Um yes, yes-yes. I was just wondering what you're-"

My head was virtually empty. The only thing I was hearing was 'mate, mate, mate'

"You're doing here?"

I held a grasp on myself. I wasn't going to let Vincent get the better part of me.

"You didn't get the message?"

"Huh? What message?"

"You were supposed to be informed of my coming before hand"

Just then it hit me. I turned and looked at Justin. The most useless beta anyone could ask for.

"Justin?"

I yelled with a high pitched tone.

"I-I-I was going to tell you but, but you were too busy last night"

Rage filled my face. What did he mean? I was too busy.

"What do you mean I was too busy, what was I doing?"

I stood there and I expected an answer. But only silence filled the room. It only made me angrier. And when I got angry like that it wasn't good for anyone.

I could feel my veins popping out and my head getting bigger.

"Answer me!"

I yelled. Justin coiled in a corner and swallowed a bulge down his throat as I walked closer to him.

"You were... having...you-re nightmares again"

He managed to spill as he pointed to the broken shards of glass on the floor and the obvious mess I had not seen when I woke up.

"How long has this been going on?"

Her voice brought me back to reality again. It calmed me and soothed me.

"How long have you had these temperamental outbursts?"

She asked again. But I couldn't bring myself to answer her. I already knew the truth, I had always known the truth but it was a secret. My secret.

"Since you weren't informed of my arrival. I'll simply just do a brief introduction to ease things out"

She arranged her position and took a more confident stance.

"I am Dr Elena Aris. I am a highly trained psychologist whose profession entails helping people to control their aggression and temperaments. I help people understand what their anger is trying to say and how to stop it from taking over.”
