When David slowly opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was a white ceiling.
The smell of medicine filled the air.
He blinked a few times before realizing where he was.
The school hospital.
He quickly sat up and looked around the room as if searching for something—or someone.
His eyes moved from one corner to another.
But the room was empty.
The mysterious girl who had helped him earlier was nowhere to be seen.
Who brought me here…? he wondered.
Suddenly, her words echoed in his mind.
“No amount of guilt can change the past… and no amount of anxiety can change the future.”
David went silent.
His small hands slowly covered his face.
Tears slipped through his fingers.
He didn’t know why, but something inside his heart felt different now.
A nurse walked into the room.
“Oh, you’re awake,” she said gently. “You were seriously injured earlier. You should take better care of yourself. You’re just a kid.”
She began preparing an injection.
But when she turned back toward the bed—
It was empty.
The boy was gone.
She looked around in surprise and sighed.
“Kids these days…”
Meanwhile, David was already running down the street.
The family car was waiting for him outside the school.
He quickly opened the door and sat inside.
“Drive home,” he said to the driver.
During the ride, his heart kept beating fast.
His mind was full of thoughts.
The girl’s words kept repeating again and again.
“Drive faster,” he suddenly said.
The driver nodded and increased the speed.
When they finally arrived home, David ran straight to his room.
He shut the door behind him and slid down until he was sitting on the floor.
And then he cried.
He cried quietly, hugging his knees.
For the first time in a long time, his tears were not only filled with pain—but also confusion.
Eventually, exhaustion took over..
David fell asleep right there on the floor.
The next morning.
Knock. Knock.
“Young Master,” the butler said from outside the door. “Won’t you go to school today? It’s getting late.”
There was silence for a few seconds.
Then David answered softly from inside the room.
“No… I’m not going today.”
The butler frowned slightly.
“Are you feeling unwell?”
But David said nothing.
After waiting a moment, the butler sighed and walked away.
Days passed.
David stayed in his room for almost a week.
But one morning, something changed.
The boy finally stood up from his bed.
He walked into the bathroom, took a shower, and brushed his teeth.
When he looked at himself in the mirror, he stared quietly for a long moment.
Then a small smirk appeared on his face.
“Thanks… young lady,” he whispered.
For the first time in a long time, he dressed properly.
Usually he wore messy clothes to school
without caring about his appearance.
But today was different.
When the car stopped in front of the school, David stepped out and stood at the entrance gate.
He closed his eyes for a moment.
Then he opened them again and walked inside.
Students were talking and laughing around him.
As he walked down the hallway, two boys suddenly bumped into him.
One of them almost fell.
they felt an Ultimate Aura in him that made them feel uneasy.
David said.......
The boys were shocked!!
