AWAKE

There she was... looking at me, tears streaming down the corners of her eyes. Those eyes... those beautiful blue eyes...

"Kaori-san..." the words left my mouth like a breath...

she gave a small smile.

Kaori: did i happen to embarrass myself in the note-

Before she could finish, my feet moved on their own and i wrapped my arms around her shoulders and one on waist...forehead resting on hers...

"My world will fall apart without you..."

My tears now directly falling on her cheek bone.

She lifted her hand slowly and touched my side...her touch barely being felt.

Kaori: kousei-kun...i am glad, really...

She was smiling through tears and i couldn't help but give a small smile back.

Kaori's POV

My eyes started fluttering...the ceiling fan was blur...i frowned and blinked...there is a voice weeping...crying... Am i dead?

I blinked more... trying to move my head... my cousin cleared, body aching...tubes attached to every part of the body... trapped. I slightly turned my head... there he is.

Arima kousei, he was mumbling something...crying in a piece of paper-oh- it's the note i wrote...

My expression softened...and eyes teared up... He's so caught up in the moment, he doesn't know i am awake.

And then he said it... the words i wanted to hear from so long

Kousei: i love you too, Kaori san...i really... really love you.

My breath caught at his shaky voice... A small smile formed as a tear escaped the corner of my eye.

I didn't want to burst the warm bubble there. Being cared for...felt nice. But i couldn't control my happiness and said it "i am glad you do..."

And when he looked up with those big teary eyes at me...? I swear the lock of the cage where i pushed the butterflies living rent-free in my stomach...broke.

He instinctively took a step towards me and rested his forehead on mine.

My eyes widen, now i can feel his tears falling directly on my cheeks... Oh my, i love him so much

And then his arms came around my waist and shoulder... my body heated up at the contact and millions of butterflies fluttered. I wanna hold him back... but...but these tubes...

I somehow slowly lifted my hands to rest on his side and that's when it happened.

He leaned down...his lips resting on mine...ah...so soft. I closed my eyes and tightened my grip on his side... letting myself feel it... And then-

His tongue came out... Asking for permission to slide in... I gasped. My big eyes... Staring in his half lidded ones... looking at me like that... Unfair.

He took advantage of My gasp and slipped his tongue in... I let out another gasp and he deepened the kiss more...
