“We just want you to be happy, anak.” His dad was quiet at first but listened as Lucas spoke respectfully.

The bullying stopped. Kai and Miggy rebuilt their friendship with new honesty. Love had won against fear and jealousy. Kai felt lighter than he had in years.

Under the same mango tree where their story began, Kai and Lucas held hands one golden evening.

“We solved every challenge with love,” Kai said softly, a peaceful smile on his face. Lucas leaned in and kissed his forehead gently. “And we always will.”
