New Storm and Broken Trust

A few weeks after everything seemed peaceful, a new transfer student arrived at school — Richard, a rich and handsome boy from a wealthy family. He immediately noticed Kai.

“You’re so kind and cute,” Richard said with a charming smile. He started giving Kai expensive gifts: new shoes, a branded watch, and even a new phone. Every afternoon, Richard offered to drive Kai home in his luxury car.

Lucas became jealous. One day he saw them together and walked over. “Hey, what are you doing with my friend? Come on, Kai, let’s go home.”

Richard smirked. “Kai can decide for himself.”

Lucas tried to pull Kai away, but Kai went with Richard anyway. Lucas was secretly from a rich family too, but he had never shown it. Hurt and angry, Lucas decided he would do everything to win Kai back.

Then the shocking truth came out. Richard was actually a playboy who only wanted to seduce Kai for fun. Lucas found proof and confronted Richard. They argued loudly in the school corridor. Kai heard everything and saw the real side of Richard.

Heartbroken again, Kai broke up with Richard in tears.

Kai felt like all boys were just playing with him. He became depressed, skipped school for a whole week, and locked himself in his room.

His parents grew very worried. They knocked on his door and forced him to talk. Kai cried and told them everything — the bullying, Miggy’s betrayal, Lucas, and now Richard. His parents hugged him tightly.

“We’re here for you, anak. You’re not alone. We love you no matter what.”

The next day, Kai returned to school but ignored both Lucas and Richard completely. He became quiet and no longer smiled joyfully. His parents worried even more, but Kai stayed silent.

Graduation day came. Kai walked across the stage with empty eyes. Lucas cheered from the crowd anyway. After graduation, Lucas started working as a CEO in his family’s company.

Richard went abroad. Kai became a working student at Jollibee as a waiter to help support his family.

One busy afternoon at Jollibee, Lucas walked in and saw Kai wearing the waiter uniform. He froze. “Kai…”

Kai served him politely. “Welcome. What would you like to order?” Lucas apologized softly, but Kai only said, “It’s okay.”

Lucas started visiting Jollibee almost every day. He always sat in Kai’s section. Kai noticed but pretended not to care.

One afternoon, Lucas went to the comfort room. Kai followed with a mop to clean the floor. They suddenly stood face to face alone.

Kai burst out, “Why are you always coming here? Are you really coming here to eat or to see me?”

Lucas answered honestly, tears in his eyes.

“So what if I’m coming to see you? I really miss you. I’m very sorry for what happened with Miggy. It was her. She dragged me into the bathroom and kissed me.

I was trying to push her away when you showed up and saw us kissing. Kai, please… I don’t want to hurt you or be seen as a player again.”

Lucas cried. “I’m very sorry for everything. Do you still forgive me?”

Kai cried too. “I’ve already forgiven you that day you and Miggy kissed.”

Lucas stepped closer. “Can we start again?”

Kai hesitated. “I… I…”
