The new hotel was called "Silver Pine Residency." The owners had concealed the history of the old property so that no one would be afraid to cancel their booking.

On the very first night, a family stayed in room number 7—a mother, a father, and their eight-year-old son, Aarav.

Aarav woke at exactly 2:17 a.m.

He saw black smoke-like marks forming on the room wall... Gradually, they turned into the burned footprints of tiny feet, which stopped under the bed.

Aarav peeked down.

Two glowing eyes stared at him in the darkness.

A thin, burnt voice called out—

"Have you seen my mother...?"

Aarav screamed in fear. His parents woke up, turned on the lights—but there was nothing downstairs.

In the morning, they tried to leave the hotel, but at the reception—they found the main door locked from the outside, and no hotel staff was present.

The phones were not working.

Gradually, other guests also complained—everyone had heard a small child's voice at night.

The hotel's CCTV footage showed a burned child wandering the corridors at 2:17 a.m., stopping at every door and saying the same thing:

"Mom... open the door..."

Aarav mustered up the courage and followed the child. He led him to the hotel's closed basement—where, beneath the old ashes, lay a hidden iron door.

The same words were engraved on the door:

"Room number 7 never ends."

As the door opened, the same old burned room appeared inside—but this time, a child sat in the middle.

It was Maya's son.

He slowly raised his head.

Half his face had turned to ashes, but there were tears in his eyes.

"Mom's gone...

But no one came to pick me up..."

Suddenly, the entire hotel wall began to shake from behind.

The speakers turned on automatically, and a voice echoed in every room simultaneously:

"Whoever has entered now... will stay here."

The door began to close.

Aarav and his family started running out—but at the last moment, Aarav noticed:

The child had grabbed his hand.

And a burn mark appeared on his hand...

In the morning, the hotel was empty.

Only room 7 was open.

Written in ashes on the bed was—

"Now I have a new friend."

Everyone thought Aarav was safe—because the next morning he was found sitting alone on the roadside outside the hotel. He was alive, but completely silent.

His mother hugged him, his father cried, but there was a strange emptiness in Aarav's eyes—as if he were still stuck somewhere else.

Everything began to change after returning home.

The first night, Aarav began drawing ash-like lines with his finger on the wall of his room.

In the morning, it was discovered—a map was drawn on the wall.

The map was of the basement of the same old lodge...

And in the middle, in a red circle, was written:

"He's still down there."

Aarav stopped talking, but every night he would repeat the same sentence in his sleep:

"Don't let him out..."

The third night, at 2:17 a.m., the power went out in the house.

Mother looked—Aarav wasn't in bed.

His room window was open, and outside, small, burned footprints in the dirt led toward the street.

The whole family followed those footprints...

And they led straight back to the ground where Silver Pine Residency had stood.

But the hotel was gone.

In its place, only a burned-out structure stood, shrouded in mist—the old Shantiniketan Lodge.

Aarav's voice came from inside:

"Mother... come quickly..."

Mother ran inside. Aarav stood in the middle of the hall—but behind him stood the same burned child, this time smiling.

He said:

“I'm not alone anymore.

He shares my fear.”

Just then, the floor began to crack.

A deep, dark pit opened below, with countless hands reaching up.

Aarav's mother tried to pull him away—but her hand was ice cold... and slowly turning to ash.

Aarav spoke clearly for the first time:

“If I go... the door will close.”

His mother cried out:

“No!”

But then the burned child stepped back... as if someone had called out to him.

A familiar female voice echoed from the broken ceiling above—

“Leave him alone...”

Maya's figure appeared again in the smoke.

Has Maya come back to take her son...
