Keyokthai :– The War For The Earth

Chapter 1 — “The Spell that chooses earth”

A Presence Beyond the Stars

For thousands of years, something moved through the silent vastness of space—not drifting aimlessly, but waiting with a purpose older than time itself.

It did not burn like a meteor.

It did not fade like a comet.

It endured.

This was no celestial body. It was a spell—something unseen, something untouched by natural laws. It carried no visible force, yet within it rested something far more unsettling… a presence that did not belong to power, but existed beyond it.

A soul.

Ancient. Unknown. Unbound.

And now… after an eternity of waiting, it had chosen its destination.

Earth.

The Day the Sky Changed

The sky trembled.

It began as a fracture of light—thin at first, then widening, stretching across the heavens like a divine wound. Golden radiance spilled through it, pouring down upon the world as if reality itself had cracked open.

Cities fell still.

People stopped mid-step. Conversations died mid-word. Even the wind seemed to hold its breath.

Phones rose instinctively, trembling hands capturing what eyes could barely comprehend.

A voice broke the silence, sharp with disbelief.

“What… is that thing in the sky?!”

Another followed, louder, trembling with excitement.

“Record it! Record it! This is insane!”

But beneath the awe… there was fear.

A quieter voice whispered, almost lost in the chaos.

“This… doesn’t feel normal…”

Within minutes, the entire world was watching.

Screens lit up across nations. Signals crossed oceans. Humanity, for the first time in centuries, stood united—not in peace, but in wonder… and unease.

Rivals Awaken

Far from the noise of the world, inside the fortified walls of SSR  and ROS, silence shattered into urgency.

Screens flickered violently. Data streams overflowed.

A scientist at SSR leaned forward, voice tight with alarm.

“This unknown object just entered Earth’s atmosphere!”

Across the globe, inside ROS, another stared at the readings, his voice shaking.

“Its energy… it doesn’t match anything known!”

The realization struck both organizations at the same moment.

This was no ordinary discovery.

This was something beyond science… beyond understanding.

And whoever claimed it—

Would rise above the world.

The Shattering of the Unknown

As the spell descended, Earth’s gravity began to tear at its form.

A sharp sound pierced the air.

CRACK.

Like glass breaking under invisible pressure.

The golden mass trembled violently… then split apart.

Two pieces.

One—dense, heavy… alive—plunged deep into the mountains, vanishing into darkness as if the earth itself had swallowed it.

The other shattered into fragments, scattering across the land like fallen stars.

The impact shook the ground. Dust surged upward, swallowing the horizon.

Then—

Silence.

Race for the Fragments

The silence did not last.

Helicopters roared through the skies. Vehicles tore across roads. Both air and land surged with urgency.

Guided by social media signals and global broadcasts, scientists rushed toward the impact zones, driven by a hunger that blurred the line between curiosity and greed.

A researcher barked orders, his voice sharp with focus.

“Secure every fragment! Don’t leave anything behind!”

Another, eyes burning with ambition, muttered—

“This could change everything we know about science…”

Fragments were gathered, sealed, transported.

Inside laboratory chambers, under cold artificial light, examinations began.

And what they found…

Silenced them.

The fragments pulsed.

Not constantly. Not violently.

But once… like a heartbeat.

Alive.

Something changed in the room after that.

The air grew quieter. Movements became sharper. Thoughts… darker.

Midnight Discovery

Night fell over the world, but sleep did not reach everyone.

Inside SSR, one scientist remained awake, replaying the footage again and again.

His eyes narrowed with each repetition.

Then—he froze.

His breath slowed.

And realization struck.

“It… split… but the main part… it rolled deeper…”

Without another thought, he ran.

Zoick’s Decision

Inside a dimly lit office , the chairman sat , Zoick—silent, composed, watching the world unfold through layers of data.

The door burst open.

The scientist stumbled in, breath ragged.

“Sir… the main core… it’s still in the mountains!”

Zoick’s eyes gleamed faintly in the cold light.

A slow smile formed.

“Send someone. Now.”

The scientist turned to leave—

“Wait—”

He froze.

Zoick’s voice dropped, colder than before.

“Ignore protocols.”

The Retrieving

The mountain paths were lifeless. Hollow. Endless.

An employee from SSR stepped into the darkness, an axe gripped tightly in his hand, a faint beam of light cutting through the void from his head torch.

Each step echoed unnaturally, as if something deeper was listening.

He paused, leaning against the cold stone wall, trying to steady his breath. His hands trembled as he lit a cigarette.

Then—

Light.

Not from his torch.

From the darkness itself.

It flickered into existence, then pulsed violently.

Drawn by something he couldn’t understand, he moved toward it… slowly… carefully.

And there it was.

A broken spell.

Within it—something moved.

A presence. A soul.

His eyes widened, caught between fear and awe. Carefully, using an auridite stick, he secured the spell inside a reinforced container.

He turned to leave.

Then—

A low growl echoed.

Not distant.

Not fading.

Close.

Watching.

His body stiffened. Sweat slid down his temple.

The ground trembled.

A deep rumble followed—as if the mountain itself was about to collapse.

He ran.

Not thinking. Not stopping.

Only one instinct remained—

Escape.

The First Reaction

Back in the lab, machines hummed relentlessly. Scanners pulsed. Data flowed.

At the center of it all—

The fragment rested.

Still. Silent.

Dead… at first glance.

Scientists surrounded it, running test after test. Nothing responded.

Frustration grew.

One of them slammed his hand down, voice breaking.

“Argh! What is this thing?!”

He reached for a bottle of water—

Then froze.

His eyes widened.

Nearby, another scientist stepped closer to the fragment.

And it—

Glowed.

Just slightly.

Almost as if…

It noticed him.

The Experiment Begins

Inside the main chamber, Zoick stood watching, his interest sharpening.

The head scientist spoke carefully.

“Sir… it reacts differently to each person.”

Zoick’s lips curved faintly.

“Yeah… I can see it. Then let’s see who it likes.”

He turned, his voice cutting through the room.

“Dr. Kwan… begin human testing.”

Dr. Kwan lowered his head.

“Yes, sir.”

The Price of Curiosity

One by one, scientists stepped forward.

The moment they approached, the spell reacted.

Violently.

Energy pulsed outward. The air twisted unnaturally.

Zoick observed without flinching.

“Keep the ones it reacts to… separate.”

Then he stepped closer, his voice absolute.

“Touch it.”

They hesitated.

But obedience overcame fear.

And then—

Chaos.

Energy exploded in blinding waves. Screams tore through the chamber.

“AAAHHHH—!!”

Bodies collapsed. Some burned. Some… did not survive.

When it ended—

Silence returned.

But this time, it carried weight.

The Man Who Didn’t Fear It

The room reeked of fear.

But Zoick walked forward.

Dr. Kwan’s voice shook.

“Sir… what are you doing?!”

Zoick raised his hand.

Silence obeyed.

Step by step, he approached the spell.

And then—

It reacted.

Not violently.

Not wildly.

But calmly.

As if it recognized him.

As if it… accepted him.

Zoick smiled.

The Birth of Obsession

Something changed in his eyes.

This was no longer about research. No longer about rivalry.

This was personal.

His voice dropped into a whisper.

“This power… belongs to me.”

He turned, clenching his fist.

“Prepare the experiment.”

A pause.

Then, with absolute certainty—

“ I’ll do it myself.”

Fear spread through the room like a shadow.

But Zoick…

Only smiled.

The Beginning of Something Unforgivable

Far beyond Earth…

Across unknown realms…

In a ruined land where nothing lived—

Inside a dark cave—

A pair of eyes opened.

Alive.

Watching.

Waiting.

Then—

They burned with fury.

A fury that rejected existence itself.

As if something had awakened… that should have never been touched.
