(Chp3) Unremembered

I slammed the door shut and sat on my bed snatching the photo away from the drawer gripping it tightly

N-no this can't be it... How is she soo calm about it even if she knew.. S-SHIT SHE CREEPS ME OUT-

I lay down on my bed and covered myself with a blanket to sleep as I was holding the picture in my hand

A few minutes pass by rei entered with her belongings

she walked toward me sleeping

"You sleep soo cute just like before yui..." she whispered as a smile escaped from her lips, face blushing with satisfaction as her eyes caught on to the photo that was in my hand

She still has this? she leaned closer as she brushed her fingers through my cheek

Soo soft.. she said in her thoughts while observing closely

Her smile widenend "Yui.. I love you" she whispered softly while stopping at every sentence

-In the morning the sun arrived

I woke up hearing the sound of people talking from the outside, I got up while rubbing my eyes as I slightly opened my bedroom door to peek outside

My eyes locked onto rei

Sh-shit it's her again?

Then dad noticed as he stopped packing to look at me

Then warmly said

"Oh Yui youre awake, let me tell you something.

Your step mother and I have decided to let rei stay in our house since me and her are going somewhere for a business trip" dad said

I froze in disbelief while gripping onto the end of the door

"U-uhh... well-"

"Dad how long are you and step mom gonna stay In there?" I asked in a panic as nervousness crept into my body

Both rei and dad chuckled then dad answered calmly

"For about 3 weeks." he looked away from my eyes as he looked back onto his packed luggage again, closing the zipper

*zip*

"Well.." he hesitated then said with a smile "well then I guess ive already answered all of your questions" he looked at his watch on his wrist "I'm off now and also don't forget to eat breakfast and take care of your younger step sister okay?" he said as he headed towards the door dragging his luggage with him

"D-dad wait-" Before I could continue the door shut closed behind him

I was left standing awkwardly with my step sister on the kitchen her eyes still staring onto mine like in deep observation as the air grew thicker around us

"Sister" she said with a mischievous smirk on her face as I noticed her staring onto me soo deep

My blood boiled with anger as I lunged myself onto her gripping her collar tightly with my fists

"Y-You" I grumbled as I glared onto her eyes my expression darkened

Rei was calm.. Too calm it pissed me off and gave me an unsettling feeling I can't shake off as if it was stuck deep inside my soul

A feeling I didn't get for the past 8 years after she left

It felt too familiar but It still pissed me off on how I felt like that, I didn't want to feel like this, I never did, I will always refuse to think that you are rei. Cause I didn't even believe who I was after she left how could I possibly believe that you are that person who made me feel like my life depends on them...

Inner thoughts began to fill my mind

I hate you.

I hate myself.

I hate my thoughts.

I hate how you make me feel.

"No! No! YOURE NOT ACTUALLY REI! YOU FUCKING BITCH-" I roared at her as I freed my right hand from her collar and slapped her hard onto the face as my right hand holding her collar tightened even more

Rei's left cheek was red after the slap but that mischievous smirk only grew wider as if it had satisfied her even more...

Tears started to form in my eyes

She turned back to look at me

"Sister..." she spoke calmly as she hesitated for a second "Do you really not remember anything?" she asked softly then giggled

"Not even when your life was dependent on me?" her expression was dark but also filled with satisfaction as if she was enjoying the situation she was in

My grip on her collar started to loosen up a bit as I looked down to cover my face when tears started falling from my eyes

*Sob sob*

"Yui.." she called out my name quietly and softly as she put her hand onto my cheek "you still look cute even if you cry" she gently said as tilted her head

"I- I hate you." I whispered

"I love you.." she whispered back at me softly then asked "Do I really creep you out that much?" as her mischievous smirk turned into a soft smile
