episode 4.2

When the noble lady tried to slap the boy, her maid whispered to her, and she held up.

"Huh?!" she was shocked. The maid hesitatingly bow after she whispered to the lady. The lady is frowning and then sneers at the boy. She looked at the boy again with a fierce face.

"You're lucky this time, brat. I could not teach you a lesson. But we're not done!" she said and turned around. " Ah! I forgot," she holds up and picks up the money.

"I don't need your money; you should not waste it, or maybe you'll die of starvation. Or instead, you should share it with your fellow people if you don't want it, so you all don't die in famine. No one will accept waste from a filthy people like you," she said coldly and threw the money to the gathering people. "Don't you dare to underestimate me," she added. "What a waste of time!"

She turned back, rode to the carriage, and drove away.  The boy turned around and walked. Vohn is still standing at the side, but he didn't notice. He just walked past. Vohn grabbed his arm quickly, and he stopped, and he looked back.

"Th...thank you for helping us. How should I repay you?" she said with gratitude and blushing.

"No, that's ok. You don't have to," he said.

"Ca...can I know your name, at least?" she said.

"Uu...hhhmmm... " he flinched. Suddenly a young man approach to the boy and they slightly nod to each other.

"I'm so sorry little girl, your hero is too busy today so he needs to go now" the young man said gently an excused and give an apple to Vohn. "Maybe next time young girl, you can meet him" he said with a smile and pat her head.

" Thank you so much for your help, sir. We'll never forget your kindness." Nanny said.

"Ahaha... (hesitating) It's fine." He shoke his hand across. "You should be careful next time" he said and turn around and walk away. The young man waves at her while walking ahead as a goodbye, then Vohn wave back at him but the boy walks ahead and he doesn't looks back.

At the Count's mansion, they had arrived and Vohn already changed her clothes too. She's sitting at the veranda and having some cookies. She is holding a book which was belonged to her late mother. She caressed it and wiped it using her handkerchief. The wind blows, she looks up closing her eyes, she inhales and feels the breeze. Her hair blew away by the wind, and she slightly smiles at the sky.

"Hmmm... fresh air" she said and inhaled. She slowly open her eyes and looks up the clouds. "What a nice day, mother."

Three days had already passed, Vohn runs quickly to the door where the messenger give a letter to the butler. She was so excited that maybe her father sent a message for her and he did, it was really a letter from her father. The butler give the letter to Vohn.

"Milady, a letter for you from your father" the butler gave the letter then he bowed and leave.

Vohn hurried to her room ,then her Nanny arrives with a juice and a cookies. Vohn sits on the couch and excitingly open the letter. The fragrance of the letter is very soothing and the paper is made different and unique. She opens it gently and read the content.

Dear Vohn,

How are you now Vohn? Are you doing well? Coz I'm doing well in here, so I hope you're well there too. I really miss you, my precious Vohn. The places in here are so amazing. I hope some day we will travel here, around the world together. I wanted to show you of what I really amazingly saw here.

Vohn, take good care of there, stay happy and healthy. Be a good girl and eat more nutritious food, stop eating candies and don't skip meals. I love you Vohn and I miss you so much.

From your beloved father, Leo Amet (and a signature)

Vohn was really glad while reading the letter. After that, she took a pen and a paper to write back for her father.

Since that day, her father always send a message three times a month. Vohn was so happy whenever she receives the letters. Not just letters, but also gifts. She receives a bow-and-arrow made by real gold with a jewelry designs, a coats and clothes made by pure skin, feathers and furs of animals and some of jewels for her allowance. But Vohn no longer amaze by it.

"Why would papa always gift me these kind of stuffs, I already had these." she said and look at her closet full of clothes and stuffs and jewels.

"Did he harbored these things or he stole these?" she sighed. "But papa never do such vicious things. Oh, papa, I wish and hope you're ok and will you never get captured." she said clasping her hands tightly.
