🌸 — “The Day Jealousy Bloomed”
Scene 1 — Morning at the Shrine
The episode opens with the soft ringing of the shrine’s wind chimes. Haruto steps outside, broom in hand, ready to sweep the courtyard. The early sunlight filters through the cherry blossoms, scattering pink petals across the stone path.
Miyuri appears behind him, tying her hair with her red ribbon. She looks sleepy, rubbing her eyes.
Miyuri:
“You woke up early today.”
Haruto:
“I didn’t want you doing all the work again.”
She smiles softly — the kind of smile that makes Haruto’s heart skip. But before he can say anything else, Souta bursts out of the caretaker house.
Souta:
“Good morning, lovebirds!”
Haruto nearly drops the broom. Miyuri turns bright red.
Miyuri:
“S-Souta! We’re not—”

“You’re literally married.”
Koharu walks by carrying ritual supplies, sighing.
Koharu:
“The gods must be tired of your noise.”
Rika follows behind her, grinning.
Rika:
“Actually, the gods probably enjoy the drama.”
Haruto groans. Miyuri hides behind her sleeves. The day has barely started, and the teasing is already unbearable.

Scene 2 — School: A New Girl Appears
At Hoshizora Academy, the classroom buzzes with excitement.
A new transfer student stands at the front: Hinase Ayumi — bright, energetic, and immediately popular.
Ayumi:
“I hope we can all be friends!”

The group eats on the rooftop again. Miyuri is unusually quiet, poking her food.
Haruto notices.

“Miyuri… are you okay?”
Miyuri:
“I’m fine.”
She is absolutely not fine.
Souta leans back, smirking.
Souta:
“She’s jealous.”
Miyuri:
“I am NOT!”
Rika fans herself dramatically.
Rika:
“This is peak romance arc material.”
Ayumi suddenly appears at the rooftop door.
Ayumi:
“Minase-kun! I’ve been looking for you!”
Miyuri’s eye twitches.
Ayumi walks right up to Haruto, smiling brightly.
Ayumi:
“Can you help me find the library? I got lost.”
Haruto hesitates, glancing at Miyuri.
Haruto:
“Uh… sure.”
Miyuri looks down at her lunch, shoulders trembling slightly.

Scene 4 — The Library Walk
Haruto walks with Ayumi through the hallway. She talks nonstop — cheerful, friendly, and completely unaware of the emotional storm she’s causing.
Ayumi:
“You’re really easy to talk to, Minase-kun. I feel like I can trust you already.”
Haruto blushes awkwardly.
Haruto:
“I… I’m not that special.”
Ayumi:
“You are. You’re calm and kind. I like that.”
Haruto nearly trips over his own feet.

Scene 5 — Miyuri’s Meltdown
Back on the rooftop, Miyuri stares at the door long after Haruto and Ayumi leave.
Miyuri:
“…She likes him.”
Rika pats her shoulder.
Rika:
“Probably. But Haruto only has eyes for you.”
Miyuri:
“But no one knows that! And she’s so pretty and confident and—”
She stops, cheeks puffed in frustration.
Miyuri:
“I don’t like this feeling.”
Koharu sits beside her quietly.
Koharu:
“It’s called jealousy. It means you care.”
Miyuri buries her face in her hands.

Scene 6 — After School: The Confrontation
Haruto returns to the shrine with the group. Miyuri walks ahead, silent.
Haruto follows her to the courtyard.
Haruto:
“Miyuri… did I do something wrong?”
She stops sweeping.
Miyuri:
“No. I’m just being childish.”
Haruto:
“You’re not.”
She turns to him, eyes slightly watery.
Miyuri:
“I know we have to hide it… but when I see someone else getting close to you, I… I don’t know what to do.”
Haruto’s heart aches. He steps closer — not touching her, but close enough that she feels his warmth.
Haruto:
“Miyuri… you’re my wife. Even if no one else knows, even if we have to pretend… I chose you. I’ll always choose you.”
Her breath catches.
Miyuri:
“Haruto…”
He gently places his hand over hers — a rare moment of boldness.
Haruto:
“I don’t want anyone else. Just you.”
Miyuri’s cheeks turn pink, but she smiles — soft, relieved, glowing.

Scene 7 — Final Moment
From behind a pillar, Rika and Souta peek out.
Rika:
“They’re finally acting like a married couple.”
Souta:
“Took them long enough.”
Koharu stands beside them, nodding.
Koharu:
“The gods approve.”
The camera pans upward to the glowing fox statues once again, petals swirling around them.
