The next morning, Pond Naravit woke up with a mission.

Not an assignment.

Not an exam.

A scientific investigation.

William stared at him from across the breakfast table.

"Let me get this straight."

William slowly put down his spoon.

"I SHOULD HAVE DIED."

"It was a bicycle."

"THAT'S NOT THE POINT."

Now Pond became serious.

Very serious.

He opened his Notes app.

William immediately became concerned.

William looked horrified.

"Because people talk to me."

William laughed.

Est somehow looked even more annoyed.

"You're Pond's friend."

"Best friend."

"My condolences."

William almost choked.

Across the cafeteria...

Pond pointed excitedly.

"William! Did you hear what happened?!"

William pointed back.
