Shao Yu (Looking him straight in the eye, unafraid): Sir, I wasn't the one being rude. Just because you drive a big car doesn't mean other people on the road don't deserve respect. And as for being here—I came because of my qualifications and my need for this job, not because of some scheme. I stand by what I said—the mistake on the road that day was yours.

Sheng Feng (suppressing his anger, his voice deepening): How dare you speak to me in that tone? Do you even realize who you are sitting in front of? Your career could be over in an instant.

Shao Yu (in a calm yet firm voice): I know, sir. You are the CEO of this company, and I am just a lowly candidate. But the need for a job cannot force me to sell my self-respect. If the price of speaking the truth is rejection, then so be it.

(A heavy silence falls over the cabin. Sheng Feng clenches his fists, yet deep down, he begins to feel impressed by Shao Yu’s fearless and honest demeanor. No one had ever challenged him like this before.)

Sheng Feng (after a few seconds of silence, in a cool tone): I didn't like your attitude... but your courage is commendable. Sit down. Let's see what your file is really worth.
