MY SECOND HEARTBREAK

"What in the actual f*ck?!" Lily gasped in shock and joy . "you finally got what you want baby! I'm proud of you" she squealed a d gave me a tight hug. The hug was too tight for me to breathe in.

"Lily!" I muffled. Then she released me and I was finally free. I breathed in and out to catch my breath.

"sorry." she said.

"I'm fine now. What should I tell him?" I asked, excited and almost forgot about what Kiera said during the lunch we had.

"'hey, dear. Thanks for checking up on me. I'm doing great. How about you?'" Lily replied happily.

" No. What of Kiera? How would she feel? And if Adrian is actually the father of her baby, then he's not acting responsible enough. I can't do it... " just before I could finish talking, my phone screen lit up and I saw a new message on Instagram. I immediately looked at Lily anxiously.

"Open the damn phone! This child." she screamed.

I opened the phone and saw another message from Adrian.

"What does he want to say now?" I asked.

" Like I can read his f*cking mind. " Lily replied sarcastically.

I then opened the message and saw a video. I opened the video and saw Kiera with Adrian. They were having a conversation at the same venue we had the lunch.

"Is this after she said those stuff?" Lily asked.

" Like I've watched the f*cking video." I paid her back and eyed her.

" Sure." she said, annoyed.

Then I played the video while two of us watched keenly.

"What the f*ck was that back there?!" Kiera asked angrily.

" No. what the f*ck did you just say in front of everyone?!" Adrian shouted back.

Kiera calmed down a bit.

"I couldn't watch both of you behave like lovers in my presence. It hurt so much." she said calmly and stared at Adrian with loving eyes.

"You don't get to choose who I talk to and who I don't. You're not my mom! And get that clear in your head that I do not like you! So you shouldn't bother if I talk to anyone in that manner. Do you understand?"

" But..."

" Do you understand?" he repeated himself.

" Yes." she bent her head

"Now everyone thinks we had something and I got you pregnant. And now I can't even take responsibility when you know all that isn't true!"

" It prevents other girls from coming to you. At least they'll think you're with me already."

" That's why you did it, huh? Okay." he said and left.

" Adrian, I love you!" she shouted for him to hear, after he had walked to a far distance.

He didn't reply her, he just kept moving and finally walked away.

Kiera knelt down and started sobbing quietly, then the video ended.

"Woah. So he isn't actually pregnant for her. That's great news girl." Lily said enthusiastically.

" Yeah, I guess. Yay!" I said. I was actually smiling.

" Awwwn. The fact that he had to tell you. That's really sweet baby. I'm happy for you girl." she said.

" Thanks. But I'm still confused why he sent it to me."

" That's cause he loves you girl! Don't you see that?"

" Yeah, I do. Kinda." I muttered.

" So what do you want to say to him?" Lily asked.

Just then, Lily's phone vibrated too. she opened her phone and saw a message on Instagram. I looked at her phone and watched her open the message;

'Hey Lily Amber. It's Adrian. What's up?'

'Just wanted to check up on you to see how you're doing.'

Then he sent the same video.

"Oh my God. Sera." Lily sounded sorrowful this time.

It was just a normal message he sent to everyone who went for the lunch. He sent it to them so they don't get confused and think he got her pregnant. I feel so heartbroken now. I hate Adrian! I didn't even realize I was crying until Lily hugged me tightly, but just enough for me to breath.

"Don't cry baby. He's not worth it. Never cry for a man okay. Shhh." she shushed. She is really bad at consoling someone. I had to clean my tears anyway because one thing ane said was very true;

'never cry for a man.'

"I don't think he'll ever notice me enough to even think of liking me." I sniffed.

" Don't say that, girl. Your standards way higher than his. That's exactly why he won't be able to get you. So never think of lowering those standards of yours cause you're way out of his league. Did you get what I said?"

" Stop being a motivational speaker. It's not helping.! " I cried.

" Ohh... I thought it was. " she said.

Lily had to spend the night at my house so she could be there for me and try to distract my thoughts. It really helped. But I had more complicated things to think about. Things she doesn't know about just yet...
