The whole night, I couldn't stop thinking about what Rita had told me.

"Gwan Shik wants to talk to you."

I was completely confused.

Why would he want to talk to me?

I had only met him a few times, and we barely knew each other.

Then another thought crossed my mind.

Those two girls...

The image of Gwan Shik riding away with them on his black bike kept replaying in my mind.

Who were they?

Were they his friends... or someone more important?

The next morning, I went to college as usual.

A few hours later, Rita's boyfriend met Gwan Shik.

When he told him that Min Hui had refused to meet him...

Gwan Shik stood there quietly.

He didn't look angry.

Instead, he looked confused.

"Did I do something wrong?" he asked.

Rita's boyfriend shook his head.

"I don't know. She just said she doesn't want to talk."

For a moment, Gwan Shik remained silent.

Then he let out a small sigh.

"I think she's misunderstood something."

He looked at his friend and said seriously,

"Please... help me meet her just once. I don't want her to think the wrong things about me. I just want to clear her confusion."

Rita's boyfriend looked at him for a few seconds before smiling.

"Alright. I'll talk to Rita."

That evening, Rita met me again.

She gently held my hand.

"Min Hui... please meet Gwan Shik just once."

I looked at her without saying anything.

"He doesn't want to trouble you," Rita continued.

"He only wants five minutes to explain something."

I stayed silent.

My heart and my mind were giving me two different answers.

Finally...

I took a deep breath.

"Okay..."

"I'll meet him."

At the same moment...

A small smile appeared on Gwan Shik's face when he heard my answer.

He quietly whispered to himself,

"Thank you... Min Hui."

But neither of us knew...

That this one meeting was about to change everything between us.Gwan Shik took a deep breath before speaking.

"Thank you... for agreeing to meet me, Min Hui."

I didn't say anything.

I simply looked at him, waiting for an explanation.

He smiled faintly.

"I think I know why you refused to talk to me."

I looked at him in surprise.

He continued,

"The day after college... you saw me on my black bike with two girls, didn't you?"

My eyes widened.

So...

He had noticed me too.

I slowly nodded.

A gentle smile appeared on his face.

"Those girls weren't my girlfriends."

He paused for a moment before continuing.looked down for a few seconds, not knowing what to say.

"I'm... sorry." I said softly.

"I misunderstood you."

"When I saw you with those two girls, I thought..." I stopped, feeling embarrassed.

Gwan Shik smiled gently.

"It's okay. I'm just happy that you gave me a chance to explain."

I looked at him and smiled for the first time.

"Then... can we start over?"

"Of course," Gwan Shik replied with a warm smile.

From that moment, the misunderstanding between us disappeared, and a new chapter of our story quietly began.
