Chapter 3 : The Mysterious Ring.

After returning home from the trip, Anfelisa slowly settled back into her usual routine.

The excitement of the journey had faded, and life had returned to normal.

She entered her room and began changing out of the clothes she had worn during the trip.

As she gathered her things, her mother's voice came from downstairs.

"Anfelisa! Bring your dirty clothes down. I'll wash them."

"Okay, Mom!"

Anfelisa picked up the clothes she had worn and began checking them before putting them aside for washing.

Then suddenly—

Ting!

Something fell to the floor.

Anfelisa stopped.

She looked down.

A small ring was lying on the floor beside her.

"Huh?"

She bent down and picked it up.

The ring was unfamiliar.

Anfelisa turned it between her fingers, examining it carefully.

She couldn't remember ever seeing it before.

"Is this mine?"

She frowned.

"How did it get into my clothes?"

She tried to think back.

Maybe she had accidentally picked it up during the trip.

But no memory came to her.

She couldn't remember seeing anything like it in Kulaczen.

Anfelisa looked at the ring again.

There was something strange about it.

She couldn't explain what.

"Anfelisa!"

Her mother's voice suddenly came from downstairs.

"Bring the clothes down! I don't have all day!"

"Coming!"

Anfelisa quickly looked at the ring one last time.

"I'll check it later."

She placed it carefully on the table before picking up her clothes.

Then she hurried downstairs.

The moment she left the room...

The ring began to glow.

A faint, baby-pink light slowly surrounded it.

The room remained completely silent.

Then, without warning, a sweet fragrance began spreading through the air.

It was a delicate scent unlike anything that had ever filled Anfelisa's room before.

The soft pink light continued for a few moments.

Then—

It suddenly disappeared.

The room returned to normal.

The ring lay quietly on the table as if nothing had happened.

A short while later, Anfelisa returned to her room.

The moment she stepped inside, she stopped.

Something smelled different.

She looked around.

"What is that smell?"

Anfelisa walked toward the window and checked outside.

Nothing.

She looked around the room.

There were no flowers.

No perfume.

Nothing that could explain the strange fragrance.

She frowned.

"Where is that coming from?"

Curious, she began searching around the room.

She checked her desk.

Her shelves.

Even the corners of the room.

Then her eyes suddenly fell on the table.

The ring.

Anfelisa slowly walked toward it.

She picked it up.

The moment she held it in her hand, the fragrance seemed stronger.

She stared at the ring.

"Wait..."

Anfelisa brought it closer.

"Is this coming from you?"

She carefully smelled it.

The fragrance was sweet and unfamiliar.

But strangely...

She liked it.

The moment she breathed in the scent, something unexpected happened.

The tension in her mind seemed to disappear.

Her thoughts became calmer.

The tiredness she had felt since returning from the trip slowly faded away.

Even her body felt lighter.

Anfelisa closed her eyes.

For the first time since returning from Kulaczen, she felt completely refreshed.

She remained like that for a moment.

Then she opened her eyes.

Her expression changed.

"That's strange..."

She looked down at the ring again.

"Where did you come from?"

There was no answer.

Only silence.

Anfelisa slowly turned the ring between her fingers.

She couldn't understand why, but something about it felt familiar.

It was almost as if the ring belonged to her.

But she had no memory of ever owning it.

Anfelisa continued staring at it.

She didn't know it yet...

But the ring was not an ordinary piece of jewellery.

And somewhere far beyond the mountains of Kulaczen...

Something had begun to move.

Something that had been waiting

for a very long time.

The ring had finally found its way back to the person it belonged to.

And Anfelisa's ordinary life was about to change forever.
