THE WOMAN WHO WANTS THE SECRET BURIED

The moment Maya left Alexander's office, Sophia Hart stepped out from behind the corner.

A slow smile spread across her face.

"So, Maya Johnson..." she whispered. "You've returned."

Five years ago, Sophia had believed Maya was gone forever. She had spent years trying to win Alexander's heart, but he had never loved her.

Now Maya was back.

And if those twins truly belonged to Alexander...

Everything Sophia had planned would fall apart.

She pulled out her phone.

"I need every piece of information you can find on Maya Johnson," she told a private investigator. "Especially those two children."

---

Meanwhile, Alexander drove to a private hospital on the outskirts of the city.

His investigator was already waiting.

"Mr. Kingston," the investigator greeted him. "The records weren't easy to find. Someone tried to have them destroyed."

Alexander frowned.

"Destroyed?"

"Yes. But one file survived."

The investigator handed him a sealed envelope.

Alexander slowly opened it.

Inside was a delivery record dated five years earlier.

Patient: Maya Johnson.

Delivery: Twin babies.

His heartbeat quickened.

Then he turned the page.

The section marked Father's Name had been completely torn away.

Someone had deliberately removed it.

Alexander looked up.

"Who did this?"

"We don't know. But whoever removed that page didn't want anyone to know who the father was."

Alexander tightened his grip on the file.

"I want the truth."

"No matter how much it costs."

That evening...

Noah and Daisy were doing their homework at home.

"Mummy," Noah asked, "is Mr. Alexander your friend?"

Maya paused.

"We... knew each other a long time ago."

"Will we see him again?" Daisy asked.

Maya smiled weakly.

"Maybe."

Just then, the doorbell rang.

She opened the door and froze.

Alexander stood outside, holding a small gift bag.

"I was nearby," he said calmly. "I thought I'd return this."

He held up Daisy's little stuffed rabbit, which had been left at the restaurant.

Daisy's face lit up.

"My Bunny!"

She ran forward and hugged Alexander's leg before taking the toy.

Alexander laughed softly.

"You're welcome."

For a brief moment, Maya saw a different side of him—the warm, caring man she had fallen in love with years ago.

Noah looked at Alexander carefully.

"Mister..."

"Yes?"

"Can I ask you something?"

Alexander smiled.

"Of course."

Noah tilted his head.

"Why do you have the same eyes as me?"

Silence.

Maya's heart nearly stopped.

Alexander looked into Noah's bright eyes.

For the first time, he truly noticed it.

The same dark eyes.

The same smile.

The same crescent-shaped birthmark on the wrist.

A strange feeling settled deep inside him.

He didn't have proof.

Not yet.

But one question echoed in his mind.

Could these children really be mine?

And what could be the reason every evidence seems to be missing and who and why would want to keep this a secret that is deserved to be buried and undiscovered.

"would the truth be revealed"

Stay tuned.
