episode 5 Losing everything

"no!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I was jolted awake from my dream. Back in the hospital bed just like how I first woke up after childbirth. I touched my tear-stained face and sorrowfully mourn for my losses.

First, the pain of losing my parents.

Second, losing the relationship I've nurtured for 10 years.

Third, losing all the hard-earned fortune my parents accumulate through sweat and blood.

Fourth, the excruciating pain of losing my child right after childbirth.

These pains I've been through, makes my head dizzy and lose rationality. I wanted to kill all those who causes it, but I'm too weak to even inflict a slight damage to all this giants in the business industry. Is there nothing really I can do?

"mom, dad.. I can't take it anymore." I cried.

Pampered as a child, loved by the fiancee and friends to all acquaintances, I am so confused what to do. I am used to have things laid, ready for my use but things change when my parents' accident happen. It was the time I realize that a lot of people whom I thought was friends are secretly baring their fangs towards us. waiting for the opportunity to bite a chunk of our meat.

My uncle, Henry Oh, whom I considered my favorite takes over the family company as his.

"Lisa dear, the company is crumbling. A lot of investors are in chaos because there is no one in charge. Your dad left the company in a mess. He signed a deal to which the company resources cannot meet. It needs to pay an exurbitant amount for the losses of the other party." uncle henry rumbles while I was hugging my parents photo.

"uncle, that is the sweat and blood of my parents. I can't let it go bankrupt." I said.

"Do you have the money to inject? so as the company will be saved?". he asked while looking out the window.

"I've got savings of a couple millions and I can sell this house to make up for the lacking money." I offered.

Shaking his head, "that won't even be enough. But I have a solution but it needs your approval."

"I'm all ears." i replied resolutely.

with his back on me, a sly smile appeared on his lips, " I can inject my personal money to salvage the company but in return you have to give me your shares and this house."

"what? that much? it is basically like giving away everything I have to you for free." I panicked. It is like a scam but on the other side I can't seem to accept to shut my dad's company.

"Suit yourself! I am trying to help you and you tell me that?" uncle Henry yells angrily.

ta, ta, ta! (high heels tapping)

"Lisa you silly girl. Daddy is just looking after you and the mess uncle Dave left." my cousin Vera amiably said.

"But I don't wanna lose this house and the company." I really can't lose especially the house because it is filled with my happy memories.

"cousin dear, are we not family to you? You can still live here. We won't send you away." Vera smilingly said while hugging my arms.

in the end, I agreed to their arrangements,. I signed the agreement that says I am giving them my shares and the house in exchange of the money my uncle will invest in the company to save it from bankruptcy.
