Chapter 5 - Freedom

...Lucas soon came back and when he did I was so relieved.......It means I could leave this room and get away from her.....

..."Is she alright?"...

...He asked with his back turned to us as I was still without clothes and Louise seemed annoyed by that......

..."She's fine😒"...

..."Thank God"...

...He was relieved......Does that mean he cares about me?......

...It's nice to think that one last person in this world cares about me.......

...After she finished treating me, Lucas gave me my clothes and they both went out so I could change.......

...Then I heard Louise start to talk......

..."Why do you care so much about that b¡t©h!?"...

..."Don't call her that Louise!"...

..."She's a kind person who was just blinded by love!"...

..."Blinded by love!?"...

..."KIND!?"...

..."Are we talking about the same person"...

..."Yes so stop speaking ill of her!"...

..."I get what she did was wrong but....I know deep down she didn't want to do any of that!"...

..."You know deep down!?"...

..."Sh-"...

..."Enough Louise! You're not going to convince me to join your little hate club that you all have going on for her!"...

...After he said that, everything went silent...so I decided to come out......When I did the atmosphere was heavy........

..."Ready to go?"...

...Lucas asked when he saw me and I could feel the murderous glare from Louise so I dared not look at her.......

...I nodded yes and Lucas and I went out of the treatment ward........

...As we walked down the long, dark hallway, I could sense that He wanted to ask me something........

..."You want to ask something?...

...I asked him and he looked at up at me and that look in his eyes.......I've never seen them before..........

...It wasn't hate......sadness.....or pain......I've never seen this emotion on a person before.........and it intrigued me so I had to ask.........

..."What's with that look?"...

...He said nothing and continued looking at me......then what he asked me next.....shocked me........

..."Do you want to leave here Eclipse?"...

...I was surprised........I could leave!?.......

..."Yes, of course!"...

...I exclaimed.........

...I would do anything to leave this place....I hate it here so much!!...

..."I thought you'd say that"...

...He said as he smiled............

..."But.....the thing is, you would need someone to watch you for a set period of time. Kind of like a probation period to see if you're really ready to go back to the outside world"...

...Probation period..........

...I don't care.....as long as I get to leave this place.......

..."Ok.."...

...I replied but I could still see that he was wary about something.........

..."What's......wrong?"...

..."Who would watch you during this time?"...

...That's right.......Everyone here hates me......My family hates me.....If I left with one of them as my probation officers then.......I'd just come straight back here.......

...My one chance.......My one hope to get away from this place......gone.......

...But when I looked up back at Lucas......I realized something..........

..."Can't you do it?"...

...Yeah.....Lucas would judge me fairly if I really was ready to leave and he wouldn't torment me........

..."Huh!? You want me to do it!?"...

..."Mhm!😃"...

...And plus, it'd be fun to spend more time with my first ever friend..........

..."Ummm ok....I guess"...

...I was so happy.....No....happy is an understatement!.......I was overjoyed!...

...So much so that I hugged him and he hugged me back.........

..."Thank you! Thank you so much!"...

...I exclaimed as we hugged........
