💔 He Is the One — “I Will Love You No Matter What”

Story 1

Characters:

Jeni – once full of dreams, now broken but brave.

Jezz – rich, powerful, torn between love and his mother’s control.

Jacob – Jeni’s loyal friend, secretly in love with her.

Mrs. Adeline (Jezz’s Mother) – cold, manipulative woman who destroyed their love.

Jenifer – their daughter, innocent, unaware of her parents’ pain.

The cold wind brushed Jeni’s hair as she walked alone down the empty street. The neon lights of the night bar flickered behind her — her only source of income, her only escape from loneliness.

Suddenly, a black car screeched to a halt beside her. Before she could react, someone pulled her inside.

She screamed.

Her eyes widened — it was Jezz.

The man who once gave her the world… and then crushed her soul with it.

Jeni: “Why are you here? What do you want?”

Jezz (calmly): “You.”

Jeni (bitter laugh): “To use and throw again?”

He didn’t answer — only silence filled the car.

Jeni: “Look, Jezz. Whatever happened in the past, let it go. I’ve moved on. You gave me memories, yes… but they’re nothing compared to the pain you left behind. I’m happy that you’re happy. Maybe… we’ll meet in another life.”

Jezz reached out, touched her lips gently.

Jezz: “You still talk so much…”

He turned to the driver.

Jezz: “Drive.”

Jeni: “Where are you taking me?”

Jezz: “Home. My mother wants to meet you.”

Jeni: “Oh… I thought you came for— never mind. How long is she staying? Do I have to stay too?”

Jezz: “You owe me this, Jeni.”

Jeni (smiling sadly): “You’re right. I owe you… pain, tears, and everything I lost.”

Her phone rang.

Jeni: “Hey, Jacob… what? Oh no. Please take care, I’ll come soon. Love you, buddy.”

Jezz’s hands clenched into fists.

He remembered Jacob’s words from years ago —

“Jeni is a diamond, Jezz. If you lose her, I’ll take her away.”

Jezz (coldly): “Jacob again?”

Jeni: “Hmm.”

He said nothing. But jealousy burned inside him — the same jealousy that once blinded him.

An hour later, they stopped by a small shop. Jeni rented some clothes for a week.

Jezz: “You could’ve bought them.”

Jeni: “I can’t afford that. I’m not a billionaire.”

Jezz (silent).

Jeni: “How is Jenifer?”

Jezz: “She’s fine.”

Jeni (smiling): “Is she coming home?”

Jezz: “Yes. But you’re not allowed to meet her.”

Her eyes filled with tears.

Jeni (whisper): “Okay.”

Jezz (cold): “Don’t cry. I hate it.”

She turned her face to the window, remembering how he once said —

“I’ll never make you cry like others.”

Now, that promise was dust.

After a long silent drive, they reached the mansion — her old home, now filled with ghosts of the past.

Mrs. Adeline stood waiting, graceful as ever but with eyes sharp as knives.

Mrs. Adeline: “So, you still come when he calls. How convenient.”

Jeni (calmly): “I came because of you, ma’am. I thought maybe this time you’d look at me not as a mistake, but as someone who once loved your son.”

Mrs. Adeline (mocking smile): “Love doesn’t pay bills, dear. Nor does it buy respect.”

Jezz looked at them — two women, one he loved, the other he feared.

Later that night, Jeni saw Jenifer from afar — their daughter, now six years old, sleeping peacefully in her pink room. She wanted to hug her, whisper how much she missed her… but she wasn’t allowed.

Tears slipped down her face.

Suddenly, Jezz entered.

Jezz (softly): “She asks about you every night.”

Jeni: “Then why don’t you let me see her?”

Jezz (pain in his eyes): “Because mother will throw you out again. And this time… I might not stop her.”

Jeni turned to him.

Jeni: “You never stopped her, Jezz. You let her destroy everything — our love, our family, our child’s childhood.”

Jezz: “You don’t understand—”

Jeni: “I understand everything! You chose her pride over my love.”

She turned to leave, but Jezz grabbed her hand.

Jezz (voice breaking): “Jeni, I still love you.”

Jeni (looking into his eyes): “Then fight for me.”

Silence. He couldn’t.

She walked away, tears in her eyes.

The next morning, Jacob came to pick her up.

Jacob: “You okay?”

Jeni: “No… but I will be.”

Jacob: “You deserve peace, Jeni. Not this pain.”

Jeni (looking back at the mansion): “I once thought love could fix everything. Now I know — love can also destroy you.”

Jezz was standing at window and was recalling the day when jeni left him with letter on table.

Dear Jezz,

You once said you’d love me no matter what.

But love isn’t silence when I’m breaking.

Love isn’t distance when I’m crying.

And love isn’t fear when I needed you most.

I’m leaving now, for good. Not because I stopped loving you…

But because I finally love myself enough to walk away.

Take care of Jenifer.

Tell her her mother loves her — no matter what.

— Jeni

Tears finally fell from Jezz’s eyes.

He whispered, “I will love you no matter what… even if you’re no longer mine.”
