Episode 3

I went home straight and took a rest. I set my alarm first before going to sleep. I cleared up my mind regarding what happened on the party. I am not involving myself to that spoiled guy.

After few hours of sleep, I prepare and eat breakfast. I prepare lunch as well since I am working from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. I need to save as much as possible.

I took their orders as I wear my smile towards the customers. We need to be friendly to every customers and when I saif every customers including the rude customers. I’d an experience where the customer throw their food to my face because they didn’t like the food. And instead of getting mad of their action, I still keep my smile and accommodate them.

Provided them what they want. Customers is “not” always right. But in order to keep the environment at peace, we need to hear their complains and accommodate their attitude.

It is a normal experience for us to see a mad customer. But most of the customers are friendly as well - they respects us. Some people be little us since we are working in the fast food. Atleast we’re earning in a decent job. And some of us, starts from here and working in our future career. It is a stepping stone for us. And some of us, it is their permanent job and it helps them to provide for the needs of their family.

After my shift, I said my goodbye to my coworkers/ family as well. The older people who works with me became our second parent. They guide and advise us towards to our chosen path.

I got home in my place and took a nap. After few minutes, I heard a knock. Since I am not expecting any guest, I peek on the small hole of the door. And to my shock, I saw the guy from yesterday.

I ignore the knock and after few minutes I received a call from Manager.

“Hi Liz. How are you?”

“I’m good. How are you, Sofie? I’m sorry about last night. I didn’t do my job well.”

“You don’t need to apologize, Liz. I apologized for not doing my part as your manager. I shouldn’t let him do what him wants.”

“You did your best, Sofie. He’s just a powerful man.”

“Yes, he is. By the way, I called you because I want you to stay away from him. He’s very powerful man and whatever he wants he will get it. And now, you got his attention. I don’t wanna scare you but yesterday he asked for your address. And I didn’t give it to him but he’ll put a strings to get it. So if you see him, ran away.”

Sofie was serious on the phone. And I don’t want her to get panic. I know she have other problem as well. She’s very nice manager and I do not want her to get involve in this situation.

“Of course, I will. You know I’m a fast runner. He can’t beat me.” I said to make the mood lighter. And both of us laugh. She said so many things before hanging off the phone.

I look on the hole one more time and did not make any noise from the inside to make sure he won’t know I am inside the house. I need to plan how to escape from him.

He’s been outside since then. I tried no make any noise while I stay in my room. If he sees me alone today, he’ll do every thing to enter in my life and I won’t let that happen.
