Episode 4

I fell asleep last night making a plan how to make him stop following me. And because of that, I asked my friend to come to my place. I remember telling him that I have a family. And my friend will bring her daughter with him.

He’s the only I can asked a favor since most of my male friends have commitments today. And his wife, who is my friend as well, suggested that he should bring their daughter with him to make it real.

William came with her two year old daughter named Joy. She is familiar with me since I visit their family with my free time.

“Liz. Are you okay?” He said while looking at the hallway which made me to look as well. And thank goodness, the guy yesterday is not here.

I played with Joy while waiting for him to come back in my place. I am hoping that he’s not coming back but it seems like he’s very persistent. At 11 AM, he came back. I am carrying Joy at the moment. She fell asleep with the bottle of milk inside her mouth. I remove the bottle on her mouth and William give a nod as a signal.

William open the door slightly.

“Do you need anything?” He asked to that guy.

“I’m looking for Liz. Can I see her for a moment.”

As we plan, I came closer to William with Joy on my hands.

“Hon. Is there anything wrong?” I asked William and faced the guy.

“Is there anything I can help you with?” I asked him and trying to act like I don’t remember him. I kissed Joy’s forehead as the guy follow every movement I make. William put me behind his back and hold my waist.

He didn’t say anything but he plastered a smile. A creepy smile to be exact.

“I think you got the wrong room.” William break the silence.

The guy put another creepy smile. “Your daughter is cute.” He said to William.

“She looks like her mother.” He added. I didn’t know that I am holding my breath until the moment he said those words. I was hoping he’ll believe it and don’t come back here. I wanted to let him know that he wouldn’t get anything from me.

Joy woke up and keep crying.

“Mama.” She keep saying those words. I hugged her and wipe her tears.

“Hon. I’ll just put Joy on the bed so that she can sleep more.” I said to William and look at the guy again. He didn’t say anything as I step back but I can feel his stares.

“I need to check on my daughter and my wife. If you need anything, please check with the management.” I heard William said before closing the door.

He came to the room and called her wife so that Joy will stop crying. William and his wife, Anna, who’s on the phone played with Joy. I thanked both of them alot of times.

After few hours they left. The guy is insane. Who would follow a girl he just met. And I already told him I have a family so he should stop pestering with my life. Eve if he’s bored, he shouldn’t pester my life. I have plans on my life. I need to work, study, and save money. And until I can save enough and reach my dream and then I’ll think about having family.
