“Late again,” I whispered to myself while running through the hallway.

He turned and looked at me. First time ever.

Day 3 – Grouping

“Group yourselves into three,” the teacher said.

He turned around. Looked straight at me.

“Can we be groupmates?”

Wait… Me?

“Y-Yeah. Sure.”

Just like that, something new began.

“Want one?” he asked, offering me a Lemon Square.

“That’s my favorite,” I said, surprised.

He smiled.

“I know.”

“Who’s the girl in your notebook?”

“Secret.”

He smiled, but his eyes said he was hiding something.

“Come on, tell me.”

“Maybe on day 47.”

Day 47? Why that day?

Day 6 – Rain Walk

It rained. No umbrella.

Suddenly, he ran toward me, grabbed my wrist, and pulled me under the hallway shade.

“Next time, bring your umbrella,” he said.

He sounded annoyed… but it felt sweet.

Day 7 – Secret Spot

“Wanna come to my favorite spot?”

He brought me to the rooftop. There were old bean bags and fairy lights.

“This is where I reset my mind,” he said.

That night, we didn’t feel like strangers anymore.

Day 8 – Playlist

He gave me a playlist.

“All my thoughts, in songs,” he said.

Okay. That ruined my emotional walls.

Me: secretly freaking out, pretending to stay calm.

Day 9 – Call Me Maybe

He called me out of nowhere.

“I just thought of you,” he said.

“Why?”

“No reason. I just like talking to you.”

My heart: please relax, it’s too early.

Day 10 – Half Smile

At the library, I saw him staring into space.

“You okay?” I asked.

“Yeah. Just… whenever you show up, my day feels lighter.”

He gave me his signature half-smile—the kind you only see in movies.

Day 11 – Scribbles

I opened my notebook and saw new doodles on the last page—flowers and a little note:

“I see you even when you don’t see yourself.”

There was no name, but I knew it was him.

Day 12 – Accidental Touch

We reached for the same pen. Our fingers brushed.

I froze.

He didn’t pull away immediately.

Instead, he looked at me and smiled.

“Sorry.”

Not sorry.

Day 13 – Movie Talk

“What’s your favorite movie?” he asked.

I said something cheesy. Your Name.

He nodded.

“Mine’s the same.”

We spent the next 30 minutes talking about the ending, time travel, and how fate plays with people.

Day 14 – Falling Stars

We were both assigned to clean up after the school event.

He pointed to the sky.

“Look. A falling star.”

“I missed it,” I said.

“Then make a wish anyway.”

I did.

I wished for him to stay.
