{After their divorce, y/n shifted to a new town where no one knew her, and where she gave birth to her daughter seung-hi. [I know I've talked about this but I'm just giving a small gist again.]

And she had started working in a restaurant owned by an old couple, really kind people. They treated her as their daughter and wanted her to take over the business after their retirement. And y/n was working there to earn money for her daughter, to provide the best education there was, to raise her in a way that she wasn't able to receive. After earning enough money, y/n wanted to achieve her dream of becoming a fashion designer as she had always wanted after her mother broke the dream of her becoming a doctor. It was all ok, she made seunghi believe that seojoon never existed, that he passed away in an accident. Seunghi believed her mother, little did y/n know that seunghi found that seojoon was alive and married to another she felt furious as she thought that her father had betrayed her mother and married his mistress, y/n was not aware that seunghi knew about seojoon, she was just busy in raising her daughter as better as she can. She didn't care about anything or anyone. As...she was happy because she was now surrounded with people who cared about her, like seojoon did. She was....... ecstatic. Until it was all snatched away from her...again.}

[18 YEARS AFTER THEIR DIVORCE]

~The place that y/n currently owns, their home~

(Y/n was busy in the kitchen packing her daughter's lunch and making breakfast for herself, seunghi and the kid that her daughter liked "a dashing young boy named lee sang-hyun" something seunghi always talked about. {Y/n always treated him as her son, any friends of seunghi were treated as her own kids. She didn't mind, she treated sang-hyun more kindly as seunghi once shared that he has some personal conflicts with his mother, and as y/n was someone who suffered at the hands of her mother, cared just enough for him so as to make him feel that he belongs and the he doesn't feel left out whenever he visited their home. He was given 'permission' by seunghi to call y/n *eomma* sighs let's continue} Y/n prepares the breakfast humming softly to herself when she gets hugged from behind by someone, she smiles looking at the person over her shoulder finding her daughter looking at the food being prepared curiously)

Y/n: morning, sleepyhead.

Seunghi: good morning, mom. (Kisses y/n's cheek) what are we having for breakfast?

Y/n: (smiles) waffles...oh sang-hyun is here too?

Seunghi: well yea... I thought you remembered that he stayed the night yesterday.

Y/n: ...ahh...yea. I remember. {Oh, I forgot to mention that they are an item now}

Sang-hyun: morning, ms. Chae. (Smiles)

Y/n: morning, sang-hyun-ah. How did you sleep?

Sang-hyun: really well. Hey not fair I wanna hug eomma too. [This was a normal occurrence, a casual fight between these love birds, just a harmless banter.]

Seunghi: (sticks her tongue out playfully) not a chance, loser.

Y/n: (chuckles) now, now kids settle down for breakfast.

(Both seunghi and sang-hyun sit down at the dining table side by side talking, whatever it was that typical high schoolers talk about, as y/n served breakfast and started eating with the kids chatting, as they finish eating breakfast. They both leave for school as y/n gets busy with the restaurant and other stuff. As evening approaches and seunghi returns to help out y/n with the orders because of a hectic day. Y/n greets the customers coming and leaving the restaurant, she then goes to a table to take their order when something unexpected happens.)

Y/n: may I take your order....... (Her eyes widen as she stares at the customers, she thought that it was finally the time when she'll never have to think about her past again. But here it was sitting right in front of her with his kid and wife....why was life so cruel with her.)

Seojoon: y/n....?

Y/n: I.... I... W-what... W-why... (As she stutters to form a sentence, seunghi approaches her.)

Seunghi: mom, what's wrong, why aren't you taking their orders. I'll take it if you aren't feeling well. Hmm? (As she looks at the customers her eyes widen in anger as she spots a, surprised and confused seojoon staring back at her.) YOU-

Seojoon: mom? (Looks back at y/n) Y/n, what does she mean-..

Y/n: I'm sorry but I have to ask you to leave. (Hides seunghi behind her.)

Seojoon: what-

Seunghi: (struggles and stands beside y/n again, y/n again tries to pull her back but is stunned after what she asks) what are you doing here???!!! How dare you show your face after all these years!!!???

Seojoon: huh!? (Raises her eyebrow confused)

What do you mean?

Seunghi: you heard me, what are you doing here after all these years? Ahh, now that you found out that you had a daughter with my mother whom you betrayed, you thought rubbing the fact that you have a family in our faces, you sick bastard!!!

Seojoon: Excuse me? (Sends his son and wife out of the restaurant to the car before answering) what do you mean?

Y/n: seunghi, wait. That's not-

Seunghi: mom, no. I won't stop today. How dare he show his face after all years after cheating on you, even after knowing about the fact that you might be pregnant with his child??!!!

Y/n: that's not-

Seojoon: I never knew about the fact that y/n might be pregnant with my child cause she never told me before our divorce!

Seunghi: what.... Divorce... That still doesn't change the fact that you cheated on my mother-

Seojoon: I never cheated-

Seunghi: oh please, the truth speaks for itself.

Y/n: seunghi, calm down. Seojoon, don't-

Seojoon: it was your mother who cheated on me with her female bodyguard! (Seunghi goes silent staring at him in shock, y/n covers her mouth as tears stream down her face.)

Seunghi: ...... that's a lie.. right, mom? He's lying to cover up the fact that he cheated and abandoned you when you were pregnant with me....right... (Y/n stays silent, crying. Which answers seunghi's question as she straight away storms out of the restaurant crying that her mother never told her the truth. Seojoon looks at y/n who's a crying mess.)

Y/n: seunghi.....

Seojoon: y/n, I-

Y/n: leave! .....please.... And don't ever come back ....ever again.

Seojoon: but-

Y/n: please, seojoon.....I'm begging you, leave...i don't want to look at you. (Seojoon sighs, leaving his card on the table saying a small 'call me, we need to talk' before leaving. Y/n closes the restaurant after that encounter and cries like she hadn't in the past 18 years before, she finally got slapped by reality and that beautiful dream shattered revealing the nightmare which was her life. The harsh truth that she wasn't someone who deserved to ever wish for happiness. Who was she kidding.... That day she kept calling seunghi's phone as she still hadn't returned home. But her daughter didn't pick up, y/n called seunghi's friends to ask if they had seen her, she even asked sang-hyun but everyone said the same thing that they didn't know where she is. She waited for just sometime before she went to every possible place that seunghi would have gone to in her fit of rage which was y/n's fault and she knew that, and she couldn't deny it. Y/n looked for seunghi everywhere and asked everyone if they had seen her, but ended up with no answers....she searched for seunghi the whole night before calling the authorities to file a missing person's case. She waited patiently for any news, she waited, waited and waited for 2 weeks before she was notified about her daughter's.......body being found. That was it, it was the last thread which finally clipped and everything finally shattered into something that could never be restored to its former condition.. She was called down to the morgue to identify the body and was handed the belongings of seunghi that the cops could recover. When she saw seunghi's bruised up and battered body she broke down...that killed her from the inside. The cops inform her that seunghi was killed in a severe accident and tell her to wait outside to take the body for the funeral as identification is done...but that wasn't the truth, not even near it. As she was grieving not having the slightest clue about what she should do now...the last conversation she had with her daughter was the encounter with seojoon..she couldn't even clear the truth about everything..[she wanted to laugh at herself, at how her whole life turned out, what sin did she even commit, why did her daughter had to pay the price for whatever it is that y/n did] as she was busy grieving, a nurse approaches her, looking all nervous and scared)

Nurse: Ms.chae.. there is something that you should know about your daughter's death, the cops and the doctors are hiding the truth.

Y/n: (frowns) what do you mean?

Nurse: (looks around, before leaning in and whispering) your daughter was never in an accident. She didn't die because of that.

Y/n: then...what are you trying to say?

Nurse: she was... r**ped and beaten up by 4 students. As far as I know, she was drugged before all this and....abused.

Y/n: (her world collapses again) what...

Nurse: yes, (looks around, hands her a note) I've written down the names. They are hiding the fact and lying about it because the kids belong to influential families. I can't say anymore. Please, avenge your daughter. (She leaves abruptly still scared. Y/n looks at the note in her hand, still processing the fact that she just heard. She opens the note and reads the content and everything snapped from reality, she recognised all the boys, the three of them were seunghi's friends and classmates but what boiled her blood and made her believe that monsters existed was the first name, which belonged to seunghi's boyfriend... sang-hyun. Why, why, why...just why!!!!!!!!!!!)

AFTER A FEW WEEKS.

(Y/n had taken action and justice into her own hands, she had killed{I mean it, killed 😵😵} 2 of the students to avenge seunghi. She had turned cold hearted, she didn't show any mercy and tortured those 2 to death, of course really discreetly before discarding the bodies without anyone's knowledge and she had even attended the boys funerals and that provided her with a sick sense of satisfaction. And she was onto her next target, she saved the mastermind for the last [sang-hyun]. She had invited the third culprit for tea to give him some consolation on losing his best friends. She had spiked his juice but the kid already had a hunch and was prepared so she had to change her plans and act quickly before he could reveal the fact which required proper measures but little did she know she had played right into a trap, as she was knocked out by sang-hyun who was hiding in her house even before she met with the third kid, she was knocked out the moment she had stabbed the third culprit. Everything went black after that and when she came to, she found herself wrist bound to a chair at a construction site on one of the top floors with a smugly smirking sang-hyun sitting in front of her.)

Y/n: what...where am I... (Shakes her head to fully come back to her senses.)

Sang-hyun: Just a place my parents own, it's still under construction. But don't worry, I'll take good care of you, eomma... (Clicks his tongue) Ah, ah., not eomma.....baby~ (smirks, a sick chill runs down y/n's spine at that. This doesn't feel right, the situation screams that something bad is gonna happen.)

Y/n: let me go ....this instant. (Glares at him)

Sang-hyun: ah~~ that look. Mm~ (shivers, starts walking towards her)

Y/n: *something is not right with him...I need to find a way to get free from here* sang-hyun, let me go. What are you doing? (Continues glaring at him, trying to unbind the ropes tied around her wrists)

Sang-hyun: you'll know in a minute, baby~ (cups her face, leaning in closer to her)

Y/n:*shit, shit, shit. I need to say something* why...(Sang-hyun stops, slightly pulling back)

Sang-hyun: why, what? Hmm? (Stares at her with a smile)

Y/n: (tears fill her eyes) why did you do that to my seunghi? What did she ever do to you except loving you more than herself?

Sang-hyun: (his expression turns cold) what did she ever do? Except loving me, you say. That's what she did, that's her crime, blindly loving me when I didn't even reciprocate the same feelings. She was really dumb to even confess those disgusting feelings of her to me. I never loved and I would never love her even if that dumb b**ch was alive. It's a good thing we had our fun and killed her. She always got in my way. I wouldn't have done that, had she never confessed, we could've continued being friends and she wouldn't be dead now. She shouldn't have called me that day after her fight with you, I was already feeling down. If she hadn't she would've lived. It's her fault that she fell for me. (Caresses a few strands of y/n's hairs gently as though he's worshipping it. Kisses her hair) I never had any intentions of dating her, I never even viewed her romantically. I had always and will always want you.. jagiya~. The moment I saw you, it was like the whole world disappeared, I had never wanted something the way I wanted you~ it was as if you were created for me and only me. (Grins sadistically, leaning closer to y/n as tears stream down her face.)

Y/n: I'll never forgive you.....

Sang-hyun: don't cry~ (licks her tears away)

Y/n: no..stop! .. (struggles turning away from him) let go..

Sang-hyun: shhh, I don't want to hurt you. Be a good girl~ (holds her arms, pulling her to her feet and pushes her down on the table that was in front of them) I've always wanted to do this, I've dreamt of this everyday, to see you beneath me all breathless and whimpering. Now then shall we, I can't wait any longer. (Starts undoing y/n's clothes as she continues to struggle. He ignores it and starts placing kisses wherever he can, this disgustes y/n as she somehow kicks him away from herself creating some distance between them enough for her to move away from him as she approaches the open side of the site{ya know as they're at a construction site and there is that part of a room which is still getting constructed and all})

Y/n: (she stands near the edge of that open part) do not come near me.

Sang-hyun: don't.. stop, don't do that. Get back here. (Walks towards her slowly, fear visible in his eyes.) Calm down, and come to me. Please, why are you doing this to me when I finally have you.

Y/n: (looks at him in disgust) I'll never let you have me. (Looks behind, and down at the ground and closes her eyes taking a deep breath)

*I'm sorry, seunghi. Mom couldn't properly avenge you and you had to go through something traumatic like that. Mom is on her way to you* (looks at sang-hyun) I'll never forgive you, sang-hyun. Never! (Falls back from that top floor{oh her wrists are still bound}, still facing him.)

Sang-hyun: NO!!!! (Jumps down with his arms open, to hold her)

Y/n: *is this kid....not sane...? Whatever...now I can finally have some peace.....finally..* (closes her eyes again, sang-hyun does, catches her as they continue to keep falling down, before finally...... clashing with the ground....)

Y/n: (wakes up breathing heavily, her throat and head hurting real bad) .....hah.....hah... Wait.... I'm..alive...? Wasn't I falling down..I mean didn't I fall from the building....(Looks at her hands checking if they're intact...but finds sleeves of something you'd see on a person who's cosplaying someone from history or in a historical setting)...huh... What the....

?????: miss!!! You're awake. ...finally....(Looks at the person still confused)

Y/n: ....miss...? What is....going on...?
