Isabel Williams was a hard working doctor at Apollo hospital in Rome, Italy. She came in nerd group in her school days. Her ex-boyfriend, Jaxson had cheated on her with her cousin sister, Emma. She had moved on but her heart felt empty like a barren desert. She had been living like a ghost until the day he came.

His name was Carter Andrew. He was from a millionaire family and had taken hold of his family's business converting the millions into billions with illegal business. He was also the new underworld king. Often seen with a different lady on his arm each time, the paparazzi were constantly on his toes. He made the Andrew's company into the country's most rich company. A bad guy in every sense, ladies, money and cars were his toys. He didn't give a damn about anyone but his business and family. Isabel came to the hospital today earlier than usual. She had been about to give a pregnant patient who was in pain a dose of some medicines when suddenly a nurse,who looked as if she had just run a marathon, barged in through the door and said panting, "Dr. Isabel, the terrace of the hospital... chartered helicopter, Carter Andrew's pregnant sister in law is bleeding due to a gunshot wound. "

Carter had never been challenged directly by anyone, much less threatened but being threatened by a little cute female doctor who had an unfamiliar innocence dripping off her and knew nothing about him was new to him.
