I feel now that Ivan was only attracted to Ariella because he never once tried to know about her nor did he feel any pain of separation, like it's been a year bro... At least he could have tried to know how she's doing. If he liked her or loved her, he would have made efforts to be with her or at least know about her but he didn't. Moreover, Ariella also slept with him only to feel like she had done something on her own wish for the first time and how could she expect him that he would make efforts to be with her or something. Like seriously bro, he is your father's enemy. I know domenico did very wrong with Ariella but still being a father I can understand how he would have felt when Ivan showed him the sheets, the mental trauma he suffered thinking that his baby was raped, we can't deny that... Ariella could have done other things like being rebellious towards domenico for her freedom as Diya always supported Ariella but she never took a stand for herself. I don't think that it's wise enough to sleep with your father's enemy just to feel that you have done something for your own, knowing what mental trauma the enemy is going to give your family 💔 Like literally the whole time domenico was so devastated and still Ariella was thinking about Ivan.... I am Sorry if anyone felt offended

I usually don’t comment, but I wanted to share my perspective. From Their Accidental Vows, Domenico has always been overly protective of Ariella because she’s the only living reminder of his first wife. That doesn’t justify his behavior, but it explains why his protectiveness turns into control. Ariella, unlike Sara, has never questioned him—she’s spent her whole life letting her father make decisions for her, even when she was old enough to speak up. After Ivan kidnaps her, he constantly mocks her for always listening to her father. That clearly affects her, and when she finally makes a decision on her own, it’s a bad one—but it’s also the first choice she’s ever made for herself. Now imagine Domenico’s position. He believes Ivan assaulted Ariella and then learns she’s pregnant. Do people really expect him to accept what he thinks is his daughter carrying a rapist’s child? Even when the truth comes out, Ivan is still her kidnapper and enemy. I’m not saying Domenico is right—but honestly, what would you do if you were in his place?

all these years she listened to her dad regarding all the big decisions of her life but one time where she clearly wants something of her own, something that she totally has the right to decide whether to keep the baby or not or when she clearly slept with him willingly and is ready to take full responsibility for it he denies her at first he did not even care to ask her opinion whether she could keep HER OWN baby or not. Ik that she slept with the enemy herself and is totally to blame for it but come on the reason she slept with him was clearly because of her father himself he gave her the suffocation and lack of freedom in which the more you try to control your kid's life the more they rebel and in her case she bottled the emotions for so long that they came out altogether. Although she is at fault for sleeping with him it was actually the first thing she did that made her feel free and go against her father which she obeyed her entire life.(Sorry for this rant but this is usually true for people with controlling parents to take such reckless actions just so they feel that they are in control of their own lives)
