THE BILLIONAIRE MAFIA BOY IS OBSESSED WITH ME
PAGE 5
The next day feels like any other Wednesday, but Lilith is on edge. She barely slept a wink, her mind replaying every word Draco spoke, every intense look he gave her.
You belong to me.
I’m never letting you go.
She arrives at the market earlier than usual, hoping the familiar routine of arranging clothes will calm her nerves. But the moment she sets down her sacks, she feels it again. That heavy, suffocating pressure in the air.
She looks up.
The market is crowded, noisy, and chaotic—but right in the middle of the aisle, the crowd seems to part naturally, like the Red Sea. People stop talking, stepping aside instinctively, their eyes wide with fear and curiosity.
And there he is.
Draco Caspian is walking straight towards her stall.
He isn't hiding this time. He isn't wearing a plain shirt. Today, he looks every bit the Billionaire Mafia Boss. He’s dressed in a tailored black suit that looks expensive enough to feed her family for a year. His sleeves are rolled up, showing off his expensive watch and the intricate tattoos peeking out from his skin.
Behind him walk six massive men in black suits, scanning the area with deadly precision.
Lilith grips the edge of her folding table, her knuckles turning white. Her heart hammers against her chest, a mix of anger and fear bubbling inside her. He can’t just do this! He can’t just march into her life and disrupt everything!
Draco stops right in front of her table. He looks down at the piles of second-hand clothes, then lifts his gaze to her face. His expression is unreadable, but his eyes burn with that same dark obsession.
DRACO
Good morning, mahal.
His voice cuts through the noise of the market, loud and clear.
LILITH
(Voice trembling but firm)
What are you doing here? You can’t just come here like this! You’re scaring people!
DRACO
(Smirks)
Good. Let them be scared. So they know not to mess with what’s mine.
He reaches out, ignoring her protests, and casually picks up a faded denim jacket from her pile. He inspects it for a second, then tosses it carelessly over his shoulder. One of his bodyguards catches it instantly.
DRACO
I’m buying everything.
LILITH
W-what? No! I’m not selling anything to you! Get out! Go back to where you came from!
She tries to push him away, hitting his chest with her small fists. He doesn’t even budge an inch. He looks down at her attacking him, and a soft chuckle escapes his lips. He catches her wrists gently, holding them still.
DRACO
You’re so cute when you’re angry. But I’m not asking, Lilith. I’m telling you.
He signals with his fingers, and instantly, Vicious steps forward, carrying a thick, black briefcase. He clicks it open and places it on top of her table.
Lilith’s eyes go wide.
It is filled to the brim with cash. Neat stacks of thousand-peso bills. More money than she has ever seen in her entire life.
DRACO
That’s five million pesos. Consider it payment for all of this.
He gestures vaguely at her small stall, then looks around the entire market area.
DRACO
And also payment for this place. Because starting today... you don’t have to work here anymore.
LILITH
(Shocked)
Five million?! Are you insane?! I don’t want your money! I earned this! I worked hard for this!
DRACO
(Leans down, his face inches from hers, voice dropping to a dangerous whisper)
And now you work for me. Or better yet... you live for me. I don’t want my woman sweating and struggling under the sun while I have billions in the bank. It makes me look bad, doesn’t it?
He lets go of her wrists and instead brushes a strand of hair behind her ear, his touch possessive and claiming.
DRACO
Pack your things, Lilith. You’re coming with me.
LILITH
I’m not going anywhere with you! You’re a stranger!
DRACO
(Grinning darkly)
Am I? We’ll see about that.
Suddenly, a group of men wearing construction vests and hard hats appear, carrying clipboards and surveying equipment. They start measuring the area right next to her stall.
DRACO
You see, I bought this entire block last night. In a week, this market will be gone. And in its place... I’m building a mansion. Just for you.
Lilith feels her knees weaken. He wasn't joking last night. He is literally reshaping her world to fit his desires.
LILITH
You can’t do this! This is my life!
DRACO
Our life now, mahal. Now, are you going to come with me quietly? Or do I have to carry you?
He raises an eyebrow, challenging her, his aura radiating absolute power and madness.
