Episode 4: I would rather marry my own brain

At the morning Kira rushed off in a hurry and walked out on the house. She doesn't even eat breakfast, adjusting her eye glasses and running off. Suddenly she bumped into someone, her glasses almost fall off.

"Hey, can't you see where you walking?"

"This voice...don't tell me it was the stray fox again." She thought to her self. When she looked up it was really Kai. "Great now I'm not also late, but also my lucky day again." She mumbled.

Kai fixed her glasses, adjusting to her eyes. "Hey, don't you owe me an apology by bumping onto me?"

"Stop blabbing nonsense, I'm late on the bus also in class. Can't you just step away?" As Kira try to pass on Kai he suddenly grab the hem of Kira's uniform from the back, like a cat.

"Hey,hey what are you saying 'late'? It was only 7:09 AM. Did you have a nightmare that wakes you up so early and didn't realize that it was early in the morning?" Kai grinned.

Kira try to pull away but but Kai's grip is tight. "Hey, stray fox let me go..." She struggles. Unexpectedly her stomach growled.

Kai laugh and stare at her for a moment before letting her go. "You didn't even eat breakfast? I thought you were a genius and now you forgot the three meals in a day."

Kira groaned. "It's non of your business." She tried to walk away, but Kai grab her wrist. "Hey, what are you doing?"

"Treating you into breakfast." Kai start dragging her.

"I don't want to go with you." Kira try to pull away.

Kai turned around to look at her and lean his face. "Did you know, in our academy students aren't allowed to enter without eating breakfast?"

"And who students would believe that nonsense?" Kira looked away avoiding eye contact with Kai.

"I don't care if you don't believe me, but aren't you embarrassed? Your stomach are growling like a lion?" Kai smirk, never letting go of her wrist.

Kira let her self draged by Kai despite being annoyed. She sigh and nodded. "Where?"

"The restaurant that you would like."

"What did you mean by that?" Kira try not to show interest. "I have a bad feeling about this." Kira said to her self.

"Hmmm...what ya thinking? Are you enjoying holding my hands?" Kai teased, enjoying every Kira's reaction.

Kira shoved her hand away from his, she looked away quickly gripping tight on her bag. "What are you saying? Now I've lost interest on you games."

Kai smirk and look down at her, he quickly looked away and pout. "Nah, just kidding. Hmm...let's go inside this cafe, the bus will arrive at 7:30 or do you want to walk together to the schoo–"

"Definitely 'no'." She cut off Kai's word before finishing it.

"So cold." Kai look at the cafe and sigh. "Anyway let's eat.

Kira’s steps faltered slightly. "Didn't you eat breakfast too, Stray fox?"

"I did eat, but isn't it good to eat together? hmm?" Kai teased again when he pushed through the café’s door, the scent of brewing coffee and buttered toast wrapped around them like a blanket. Ms. Elena, the owner, looked up immediately and smiled wide.

"Kai? You came, and who is this young woman? Is she your girlfriend?" Ms. Elena ask with a teasing grin on her lips

"Yea–"

"You are definitely wrong. Even he's the last human in the world I would never let her touch my skin, I would rather stay single and marry my own brain than being together with this stray fox." Kira said with a cold tone.

"Heh?" Kai's look turned blank and hurt by Kira's words.

"Oh, poor Kai. You're being rejected by a girl." Ms. Elena teases.
